Umm… decent tournament, but my only complaint is that I did not have the laptop. There was bracket switching in the middle of the tournament, and thats just BS…

there were only one switches and venkat didnt wanted to played som in every 3984939 tilts tournies so i just switch him with impulse on the same bracket either way they will played anyway? So… iono what you’re talking about “switching bracket” get your facts straight. and I were doing the homie a favor. Its not like any other things happen… and you would of played venkat anyway instead of som or hydro. So result would of been the same? I never said it was cool. Techmaster even said it wasnt cool. But, I had to go anyways so I didnt need to make it a big scene there. For posterity-sake, once the tournament has started, the brackets should not be changed. Period. Even if you play someone all the time, that should not matter. That is the reason why brackets are usually spaced so that you dont play someone from the same area in your first couple of matches. Crizzle plays everyone all the time. You play everyone all the time…that is what happens when you win matches and advance. Regardless of the results possibly being the same (which they most likely would have been, since I would have lost to Chucky or Venkat as well), it should not be your decision to make. Running a bracket, and changing a bracket are 2 very different things. Since I was the person who was changed, I am sure that I “do” have my facts straight.
Spider-Dan and i were talking about this while we were making the brackets for the games. You should almost never have to play someone who you came to the tourney with or someone from your area code unless you never play the person. BUT after the first round it DOES NOT matter if you have to play your best friend who you have played a million times you still have to play. switching people after the first round is wrong and it should not have happend but all i can say is what is done is done.
I had to play mark in cvs2 and I play him alot but I didnt ask to have that changed or nothing like that. If it had been for the first round then i may have said something but AFTER the first round it doesnt matter. When you WIN matches like impulsze said you are gonna play alot of people and you are gonna advance in the tourney to play better comp as you advance.
I thought that by makeing the bracket myself and letting someone run the game with the bracket already made for them that all they would have to do is go down the list of matches and have everything run smoothly but i guess not. I am VERY SORRY Impulsze for what happend with your situation at the tourney.
