Tiers for obscure games

Anyone know the tiers for DON Battle Stadium? I’m not sure if it’s a really bad game, but considering it’s an anime tie-in, the chances for that are high.

For Super Variable Geo Kaori (Glasses chick ) was definitely tops. She has: head stomp infinite, great air dive, easy ground infinite, easy chip infinite.

Wing, Mercurius
Mid:
Wing Zero, Deathscythe, Sandrock, Heavyarms
Low:
Vayeate, Tallgeese

This is pretty much the accepted tier list, though some placements within tiers could be debated I guess.

A lot of people seem to think this, just because of his easy infinite. But aside from his semi-invincible dash and the infinite he has really crappy normals. Because of this he ends of getting outpoked by faster characters like Wing ,Wing Z, and Shenlong, without even getting a chance to do the infinite. Not to mention that characters like Wing, Epyon, and Mercurius also have infinites/100% combos AND have a much easier time landing them.

tiers for Dragonball Z: Ultimate Battle 22? Used to play that game as a kid despite how shitty everyone said it was. Never knew what the 22 was supposed to mean. :lol:

Ok I simply forgot about this thread for some reason. That Tier list for MKA is 100% true! I want to see if anyone out there has actually fought a godlike KAK in MKA. It’s like beating sense into a vegetable. I’ve never seen a low and a mid hit at the same exact frame! It was like an epidemic with KAK, they all had the same formula that made you want to pull your hair out. Then they message you for losing. LOL! they actually thought this game was a real fighting game. Oh and the bosses! They can’t be grabbed and projectiles have no effect. Oh but there slow right…

Scorpion: Mid sword launcher combos into spear press 1 D/B+2 fire stun (note grabs are unbreakable) mix up between grab or use the mid sword launcher to begin the combo again. In Hapkido stance 1 jabs lead into D/B+2 fire stun and…need I say more…there is more!

Yeah, Scorp wepF1 is pretty decent. Not safe, but a good punisher, nonetheless.

Subzero: 3 safe mid kick leads into one of the most damaging grabs in MKA

Actually hand3 isn’t safe at all.

Sareena: FF+1 good mid leads into knife combo that takes 60% and cannot be breakered B/F+2 knife projectile has no start up and leads to mix up with grab or FF+1

FF1 is mad unsafe on block, but has quick recovery when whiffed…nonetheless it’s a sickeningly fast punisher. Knives are the best projectile in the game.

Noob:D+4 fast low poke D/U+2 teleport grab can be blocked on hit you get a free U/D+2 that makes you invisible…now you can mix up an opponent with your over prioritized mid that takes off 50%

Noob hits hard, but his ONLY safe move is handD4…lol he’s stuck to DF3/handD4 turtling until you stick something out unsafe.

Kung Lao: B+3 low sword move thats safe leads into 50% 2 a stupid over prioritized parry move that leads into yet another stupid half life combo

Kung is so limited, because wepB3 is very unsafe and you can parry the move. He’s pretty much limited to hand2/jab punishes.

Kenshi: has a jab infinite…I could try to remember more but I think thats enough

Yep. hand33 until death, XD. The actual infinite is banned as well, but you’re allowed to take the free hit off of 33 and use something else. Most players CS then wepU2 after hand33.

Jade: Grab B/F+4 repeat until dead

Yep, she’s got that. It’s banned as well. She’s okay, and makes a decent Sareena counter.

Jax: Go to tonfa stance mash out 11 grab smash the ground there you go you took off half his life
Or you can be a dick and mash 11 pause 11 pause 11

Jax’s wep11 is unsafe, but still manages to be better than Tanya and Stryker’s wep11 simply due to the free throw you get from it. Jax also has air breaker to pound…which means the opponent can only hit you with an unbreakable if they launch you when they’re low on life.

That was just a brief journey into Boons messy masterpiece. Now this is were the game becomes slightly more skillful and even more cheap. Air cancels! Boon was so proud of himself when he introduced air combos into the fray he didn’t even bother to test out what would happen if you switch stances between moves in the air. Since the stances in the air are represented as two different move sets you can now infinite with anyone. I’ll post the link later so we can all marvel at this glorious mess of a game.

The ACs are okay in the aspect that they balance out damage, but that’s only after limiting them to 1 per combo.

Lol, this game’s a mess. To keep it even remotely competitive, a lot of rules were made, such as 1 OTG, 1 free throw, and 1 AC. Even then it falls flat on its face. More or less, the game’s like an extremely broken play on pre-Super SF2 in that bad footsies will lead to losing matches…broken in that getting hit twice often means you lose the round. Getting hit twice is so easy, too, since the blockstun is nonexistant (there’s only blockstun when you let go of block…like 4 frames, IIRC).

Don’t ask why I understand MKA this much…lol. Eh…I’d play it still for lulz.

yeah he could also put good pressure on you and run your shield out easy with his relativley safe block strings, and he could combo into super easily

But the good thing about TMNT: TF (SNES) is that every one can be played at tournament level so everyone can be interchanged really so my tiers might be off by a bit). But with that said, the people who do play this competitively (and yes, they do exist) all agree on Raph and Armaggon being top 2 and War/Aska are the bottom 2.

Don is good, but he is no where near considered top. He has some good corner game and can punish a lot with his st.hp and super but he isn’t crazy like “I have CE Bisons block strings and can launch 2 hado’s on the screen at once” Raphael.
