no it does not fill the criteria for S****y fighting games. Budokai 3 is a good game.

oh and btw about people talking about SVC Chaos tiers way earlier in the thread. I didn’t bother to read the whole thread but I would like to know where Red Arremer, Athena, Shin Akuma and Shin Mr. Karate are on there.

oh and also for Yu Yu Hakusho Dark Tournament for PS2 I swear Younger Toguro was broke because his like I think regular combo glitched or something most of the time and knocked you through the floor of the ring counting as a ring out that was bs.

God Tier, duh. They’re pretty much broken. Then in tops you have people like Goenitz, Geese, Zero, than Upper mid is like Guile, Terry, Shiki, and everyone else, than people like claw and Hugo are near the bottom.

And yeah, Budokai 3 kicks much ass.

there used to be a tier list on ddforever’s site but it’s down now. game was pretty balanced cause mostly everyone was broke in some way, but billy is ranked best character in the game.

Dunno about the original Tenkaichi, but I know SS4 Gogeta rapes everyone in Tenkaichi 2 and 3. Omega Shenron pick up the rest of the slack after him.

Tops is Geese and Zero (haven’t seen enough Goenitz or in the matches that he’s in he gets rushed down).

Upper is Orochi Iori for sure, as well as Guile, Chun-Li, Tessa, and regular Iori. I suppose some characters like Kim, Ryu, Demitri, etc. are around this area too. Then it’s everyone else, then Claw/Dictator/Hugo at the bottom iirc. I rather thought the old discussion of this game (in this same thread) covered that well.

IMO Shiki was much better in NGBC.

Need a CVJ tier list.

So far I got something like:

• Aeon: Time stop, laser, armor on tilt special, grab
• Grant: basically has 2 supers, fast, quick projectiles, good unblockable and can combo into super much easier then rest of the cast
• Maria: Is there anyway to get past solid wave spam keepaway?
• Shanoa: Solid character, good dash, good specials, damaging combos
• Carmilla: fast normals, good combos
• Cornell: same as Carmilla, but not as good.
• Alucard: good projectile game
• Eric: range and combos
• Golem: has armor, good dash and power, but no reach on normals and bad air game.
• Trevor: Average at best
• Sypha: lots of projectiles but no range on melee
• Simon: Average like Trevor, but not as good
• Drac: Boss character with lots of broken moves, but once you figure out how to deal with him he’s handicapped.

I usually just ran away with Maria dropping Genbu and spamming Tidal Wave. I thought that she was the best character in the game because of that. Then her super makes who ever got hit by it want to kill themselves.

I know there is a lot of hate on SVC, but I had fun with it. It was broken,poorly executed and badly designed…yet I can easily say I played it almost as much as I did 3s back in my XBL days lol. I’d like to see it have it’s own seperate thread personally, I mean we all know it’s trash but that still doesn’t mean we can’t have fun with it.

I know in BT3, Broly was far better and SSJ4 Gogeta was only middle of upper tier. BT2, I think he was top, but Ultimate Gohan and SSJ Fighting Trunks were better.

Omega Shenron is good in both BT2 and BT3, but not top tier.

In the Double Dragon game based on the movie, I think the Lee Brothers were at the top of the mid tier. I know that Cheng Fu and Abobo were the best characters because both had mindlessly easy infinites. I think having boobs were a curse in that game because Marion and Rebecca were low tier if memory serves me right.

the flip kick girl had a really brainless keepaway game, she was pgood.

Jax could beat everyone else for free in the game for free with the ground pound combo, which is why he is top. Except for Mileena which is why she is top and Scorpion even though he sucks monkey balls.

Also Zero and Geese have always been top tier in SvC, people still don’t know that?
