Nope. New Generation Sean is quite different from 2I Sean. Ibuki had a retarded link into her SAIII, and could start an infinite off of it. She was toned down in 2I because all she did was a measly 75% combo off her super. Her massacre in 3s was well deserved.

If a game is fun it’s not a piece of junk.
Mk established finishing moves, enviro traps, mirror matches, and blood for f games.Personally I think Liu Kang would be tops for MK1. Unless ur good w/ Scorps.
Shaq Fu- Uh, Shaq, duh, Isn’t he the only playable ch?
Other games- Ready to Rumble: Either the Asian Guy or MJ.
DBZ- Always, Always Goku or SS4 Gojeta.

I’m more or less thinking of badly rated fighting games. I’ve reall never played a truley bad fighter- oh wait, some dbz games are kinda bad. Same for naruto. and ex sf…
Oh yeah, that n64 fighter with the red knight on the cover- the red knight.
Any of those motion sensing sword/boxing games- you.
That kenshin ps2 game- kenshin.
EX series was kinda bad. Tops= Kairi, Garuda, Shin Bison.
Ehhergies- Kuroudu and Seffirot. Couldn’t beat it w/ anyone else.
DBGT Final Bout- Goku, Baby, n Vegeta.
Robot Rising- the silver guy??

Sett was definitely the best in Shag Fu that I remember. And no Shaq wasn’t the only playable character in the game.

Scorpion was the best in MK1, hands down.  Liu Kang was probably second, but Scorpion was definitely the best.

I don’t really agree with Scorpion being low , because if you can , lets say , jump over Liu Kang’s fireball at a certain distance , you can jump/kick - spear - uppercut . That alone does pretty good damage and probably pressures the Kang player not to do so much fireballs from a mid distance .

Maybe it’s me since I have the REV 4.0 Arcade version in my garage and probably got nerfed somehow in 5.0 version that I never heard of .

For SF Movie I know that I gotten an infinity with Akuma by doing some tatsumaki over and over in the corner . Don’t know if there was like a reversal button of some sort , but it counted as a combo

Scorpion has good combos and that one is present on rev. 5.0 too but a smart Kang player will never throw fireballs ala Ryu. MK I gameplay at high level is all about Jab pressure and not throwing anything punishable on block (sweep, uppercutt, etc). Sonya has a one move inf and cannot be touched by ANY move on block cause she can punish it with the leg grab. She also cannot be touched by any standing jab in the game from crouch even when she is blocking… Scorp is dead last believe me.

There was a 1v1 fighting game mode in Enter The Matrix. IIRC you could even play as the cars from the second movie’s freeway chase scene.

Berserker is definitely good, but the laser is not unstoppable. 2K>laser forms the bulk of his offense, but there’s stuff that can shut it down, like rolling at the right time, and stuffing it with shit, mostly 2Ps.

Really?! That’s amazing, I thought for sure the laser beat pretty much everything.
So if he’s got you at long range, you can roll through the lasers if you time it well?
I recall him also building meter for super laser while doing this, was that only on block?

No. That was just an animation effect. He could block that and the teleport-getup frames just switched to the block frames.
