I don’t get why you would consider throwing being gay? How would you beat a defensive turtler if you couldn’t throw them? Chip them to death? I mean throwing once in a while is good to offset a person and the people I play usually can tech throws or counter you. If you face people who always throw you constantly to win matches then either your not trying hard enough to learn counters or playing scrubbish.
Learn how to counter the throw or find out how come your getting thrown. Improve your weakness and it can become your greatest strength.
All of you people crying about people throwning need to man up and except that its in the game. I dont know how tired i get of people complaining that someone throws to much…if you get thrown ur not paying attention very simple if your a sucker for throws ur gonna get thrown if you turtle your gonna get thrown…if your getting rushed down and ur too scared to move ur gonna get thrown…thats just how it is…this thread is just for people who whine about things that they cant get around…if you know the person throws soo much then take a hint!!! Ok, only scrubs hate throwing. I mean come on its half the game basically. Theres the moves you can block and theres the moves you cant. Fuck tech throw!!! To me its like a get outta’ jail free card (seing as u can mash or get lucky). If you dont wanna get thrown just keep attacking and whiff safe attacks to keep them out of throw range.
If ur battling someone good then your lucky if you can throw them once a round. You know why? Because they know how to play the game!
Throwing at the wrong times can get you fucked up too. They can attack as your trying to throw and you’ll eat a combo. Or they can super or even throw you before you can throw them.
I do agree though about throwing in SF2, but it’s SO cheap in that game. The reason why is because its such a simple game. They didnt even allow it in tournys. Plus at that time you would most likely end up getting jumped in the parking lot because throwing in SF2 is like pressing there taunt button is in CvS. Just the cheapest thing u can do without getting physical. I mean come on they dont even allow it in tournaments. Nowadays you can RC which is a game altering glitch and tournaments turned it into a perfectly legal move that you almost NEED to win a big CvS tourny. It takes some skills to RC, but in SF2 it’s an illegal move because its that damn cheap.
BTW, are there any other flips from Cebu out there??? 
Thorwing is a very essential part of the game, God bless it or else turtlers would rule all day!
but I kinda hated throws in SFA3 because people I use to play would just pick Blanka and do it all day, pissed me off…

All he’s doing is making us waste our time, I mean, we all know that throwing’s been toned down in this game. He’s practically admitted he’d rather see “pretty” combos like Kim’s infinite on a more regular basis than throws.
Fuck, he should try Kyo in this game, half his game is that kickthrow.
