Thoughts on Free to Play Fighters?

It’s not a bad idea if you ask me, provided that the price and functionality are reasonable enough.

You might want to be careful with those questions.

Both.
Example of simplified - No more bound, which makes the combo system much easier and more closer to a Tekken 4/5 mentality
Dumbed down: Invincible “special” moves…

Actually as far as execution goes, bound makes juggles EASIER because it gives you a long time to dash in to be in an ideal spot for the finisher.

Less features = less to learn = easier to learn/comprehend/etc.

That’s what I was getting at. Nothing in there about execution.
My bads, should have pointed that out.

Anyone remember those things called demo disks?

You got them free in magazines and if you liked the demo you paid to buy the full game once and got all the characters/stages/costumes/ect. and could play as much as you wanted forever.

And there’s my problem with freemium really, a lot of the time if you actually go beyond the demo experience you get less actual game for your money than a full release.

Interesting, so it seems that free to play games can be played online without a PSN+ subscription on the PS4.
