Hit up your local community if any, you’d certainly enjoy the game a lot more then. I couldn’t imagine myself playing only online to get my weekly fix. Fighters really are outrageously boring alone. Or maybe it’s just me who doesn’t like grinding with no end in sight~ ;( My connection is shit too (canada internet sucks ass), and I can rarely hit green bars. If I do ever play when I’m at home, it’s on endless and even then, you can’t really take it too seriously. One thing it does help you though is in figuring out each character’s gameplan, tools, general spacing, etc.

green bars are playable. just remember c.lk is a link, not chain, you have to get the timing down or people will dp or whatever past it.
timing is different between yellow, green, and offline. I even got grabbed out of it before in yellow =/ and yeah green is great, its just so hard for me to find them. I played nearly all day and the only ones i got that were green were vs an abel and 2 akumas.
I find in my case it is so much better not to bother with that link most of the time. It’s useful yes but not so useful that I can’t live without it.
