ever since dallas came into my life and i finished up my bachelors ive been having some horrible insommia. I can’t sleep because of all of the antcipation. Plus im kinda addicted to caffenine really bad, im sure thats not helping either…
lol its a gift and a curse… cause I can stay awake for days if needed, but sometimes can’t fall asleep when I know i need rest for an exam or something. But I never really feel tired. I just know I need sleep. Is that weird? I somewhat exaggerate, because I do of course fall asleep as any human does. Its just super random…lol, and for a short period of time. Been like that all my life.
For real I love caffine though! I don’t always have it, but when I do I love it!! Dallas is a blast! I couldn’t imagine living too many other places. Though there are some. I couldn’t be more lucky to live in a place where the SF scene is so strong either, there are many talented players here, much more talented than those online. Most are not, but there are some here that are simply amazing at it! So I was very happy to find that here as well once I got into SF4.
Yeah… when I was in Dallas it was like i went to a more advanced culture. Houston feels so 3rd world to me… hahaha.
So I haven’t decided who I am going to main. It’s between Bison, Juri and Chun. The decision will be based on how easy or how comfortable i am with them on the stick. I used Chun more than Bison because she didn’t get screwed as bad on the pad (she’s still limited though and some things are harder to do than they should be). I’m really lazy so I have a strong feeling im going to main Bison and make Chun my 2nd, and Juri my 3rd. He just has an amazing punish game, can take a beating and dish it out, very mobile… and he is so manly he doesn’t have a projectile because he is one himself. Juri seems to require a lot of tech skill, I could be wrong. I think she is a solid character but has some glaring flaws thats going to keep her down in the long run. Bison seems to cover Chun’s bad MUs and vice versa.
No matter what I’m getting serious with Bison… timing out and playing lame is just too easy with him
Well first of all you have relize that overall Chun is a stronger character. she has better pokes and a better backdash, and I could be wrong but a better dash as well. she also has better/faster and farther reaching pokes. plus projectiles to zone. Bison probably does better chip, but you have to get close. Bison is more a solid poke character, where Chun has it all. Both will be generally easy on a stick. It takes 5 inputs to get any type of kicks/1000 hand slapps etc. But is very easy on an arcade stick and once you read about how the good players do is very easy to master. It basically boils down to how much you like the character and the characters play style.
I do believe in SSF4 that you need two main however. One that you are very strong with almost every matchup, and one that your are totally comfortable with against your first mains bad matchups.
Bison I find is like riding a bike, once you learn you will never forget. I’m sure Chun is the same if you give her enough time. Just be as solid as possible in your matchups and you will always prevail IMO with those two.
Yeah i hate saying this but chun is better lol. I know. Even on pad switching from Chun to Bison it makes me feel like Bison a shit character when i try to foostie with him because im so spoiled with Chun’s. But Bison is actually great, its just Chun is the footsie queen.
Yep. it boils down to what character you like to play with the most. I’m an 09er with Bison. I played him always because I liked his character, I picked up Sim out of neccessity to destroy noobs easily, like jb then jf.hk/mk shotos mostly. Which was%2
im not going to lie, it feels better beating people with Bison than Chun. I always get this “YEAH! SCORE ONE FOR SHADOLOO!” feeling when winning with him.
speaking of style when i was in high school I bought this t-shirt that has skulls that look exactly like Shadoloo’s logo. o.O This was before I even knew what Shadoloo was. It does have hearts on it though. I still have it so I’ll wear it and show it to you when we meet. It’s just really ironic I liked that design and later Bison has it on his hat. xD
I want a shadaloo hat soooooooooo bad!!! Kerry/Exceed^ has the most badass arcade stick design ever as far as shadaloo is concerned!! Mine is close IMO, at least my new one, because it has my fav charcaters and my GT looking sweet ass in the right upper corner. Kerry’s is still Fucking sweet though.

also when i literally just bought the game i was trying out bison, i uploaded this one vid of him and in it I slided right into Seth’s ultra, and one of my dumbass subs said it was a “nice mindgame” It was so retarded I screenshotted it

GBA… pokemon ruby/sapphire/emerald. My team was heracross, metagross, salamence, latias (shes legal without soul dew), milotic, blissey. Incidently, I’m even more retardly good at the most recent ones, which is why I haven’t been to a tourny since. I won two in a row when I was a teenager. I’m an adult now, pokemon is a kid’s game at heart. I think other people should have the spotlight now. I had a fun run, its over. They had one recently in Dallas, I was in the area, but I chose not to go.
