I’ve never had a chance to play CFJ, but like yeah, seeing some match videos, it looks as broken as MvC2 and other capcom fighters. I still want to try this game out because I loved Warzard, and I always wanted to see Hauzer, cuz he looks cool, and funny, I wanted to have Mai-Ling though… Also it’s like 15 dollars at gamecrazy.
Personally when I looked at this section I was like, Shouldn’t there be character specifc threads? Oh and when I do get this game, where should I look twords first…
lol, CFE “broken”? isn’t that an oxymoron of something? CFE is FAR from being broken (engine-wise), because honestly, there isn’t enough to the engine to break.
CFE isn’t perfectly balanced but it isn’t broken either. The problem is that most people are to lazy to put their brains to work and come up with strategies against the top tier characters.
There are. Go to display options at the bottom of the page, select “from the beginning,” or go to the sticky threads.
Character threads have basic stuff about the characters, moves, combos, etc.
Go to GameFaqs.com and look for psychochronic’s guide. It has lots of match-up related stuff as well as other general info about the game and the characters.

I’ve heard rumors that SFA Anthology isn’t arcade perfect. It looks like all the games in the package are PS1 ports rather than arcade ports.
There’s also evidence that they are not direct ports. Read the thread in FG.
i had this game but had to sell it for some money along with some other games. anyways i had fun playing chun and alex when i had it. but um i plan on getting it again is there anything new in it? and are they gonna come out with a part two for this game?

Now that we all know about Hyper Street Fighter Alpha and the new isms I think it wouldn’t be a bad idea to have an entire section of the forums dedicated to SFA Anthology, just like we have for CFE, CvS2, MvC2 & 3S, with character specific sections and so forth. I’m pretty sure there will be a lot of stuff to discuss about HSFA in the next few months, the new isms, how that changes character’s strategies, etc. If that happens, one of the mods could move some of the SFAA threads from the FGD & Other Games section to the SFAA section just to get people started.
There is no ‘instead’, if there is a SFAA forum, it is a seperate issue from whether the CFE forum should exist. If anything it just upsets people since i’ve been reading posts all day from people intentionally cross posting attacks in random threads/forums as if it’s actually helping their case.

Let me rephrase that. I bet you wish you never had to say that now… It wasn’t worded the best of ways.
I still think Alpha Anthology would make better use, especially with the ammount of games it has. There’s always been more interest in A3 than CFJ anyway, I never really understood why it’s even here. Lest just hope AA gets an entirely new section like FMJ mentioned.
Oh well… I’m sure as hell not reading that A3 thread, looks like I’m on my own.
