Funny video, I swear that guys incredulity never ceases to amaze me: Counter Hit reads on the screen as he screams, “My move won’t come out! YOU HEAR ME HITTIN’ THE BUTTON!!! (clickeytclickclickclakclickclickeyclickclak)”
If he loses it’s because: “Shitty online tactics”, “Laggy connection”, “Bullshit”. He repeatedly ‘gives up’ after complaining the whole round about how shitty his opponent is, essentially absolving him self of any responsibility he ought to have had. Here’s a thought: if you’re going to jump all over the screen and throw out uppercuts and desperation Raging Demons don’t diminish the game and the other players because you’ve got a bad attitude about why a thing works (or absolutely no idea why a thing doesn’t work). I mean christ, at one point he jumped into his opponents Raging Demon and was incredulous that it got him . . . meanwhile he’s throwing out YOLO Ultra Combos and hoping it works; here’s another thought: if you’re going to have that type of an attitude about “Online”, why not focus on specific things instead of desperately trying to win. His attitude toward that Ryu player was truly hilarious: Hey Phil! You do realize that if you jump around like a hyena eventually your opponents going to land a give-me Ultra set-up for your trouble, right?
Quote of the video: “Forget it. I gave up.” It’s hysterical how many times he gets combo’d because he was still in recovery from a fireball, didn’t block low after a jump in, didn’t block high during a jump in . . . or just didn’t block at all. Of course . . . poor, poor DSP couldn’t block, right? LOL.
The day Ultra dropped someone on a chat linked me to DSP’s Twitch channel, so I entertained it for a few minutes . . . I was a amazed. Motherfucker was playing against the damn CPU and bitching and moaning about “shitty tactics”, “computer reading my inputs”, “Game being bullshit”, etc, etc. I was laughing my ass off.
DSP is the embodiment of the worst competitive attitude I’ve ever witnessed:
If I lose:
- the other person’s a piece of shit who doesn’t know what they’re doing.
- Outside factors are to blame.
- I don’t care anyway.
If I win:
- The other player’s a fucking idiot who doesn’t know what they’re doing.
Still surprised you guys are giving him views.
What system does he play on? I kinda want to fight him and induce mad rage with Juri corner pressure. Stand far strongxxfuhajin>stand far strong>EX mid fuhajin times infinity
…I REALLY hope he’s just trying to be entertaining. Because otherwise this is some bad gameplay…
No idea, if these were uploaded yet, but anyway…

[/quote]I’m sorry…seriously…How do you fuck up Mega Man X? Not even the later games but one of the SNES ones???

It´s fucking DSP, that´s enough to know.
fact is, we’re in page 19.
We all basically hate to love this guy. Being extremely bad and complaining at a game can also be entertaining, and the amount of videos on him reflect that.
Don’t you mean “love to hate this guy”
Apparently its both. I distinctly remember because at one point when DSP was at an east coast tournament (forgetting which one though) Spooky had mentioned on stream that he thought DSP was a stand up dude, being that they were both east coast players. At that very same tournament I think DSP was put on commentary with Skisonic for Marvel and Skisonic got mad at DSP for interrupting him consistently. So it looks like he is both good and bad? I can’t tell. Despite his bitching hes a better player than me…sadly…
I’m glad he’s making SF videos again. Those I find immensely entertaining, for better or worse.
Eh, he he’s probably laughing all the way to the bank. I don’t know why someone would purposely put out videos of him losing and ranting like a lunatic because of it unless he were getting enough views to make money from it. Doesn’t mean they aren’t entertaining tho.
Damn DsP is more popular than daigo
Since he’s sort of an infamous internet celeb now (well, at least in SF circles), maybe some Pros can invite DSP to their home or arcade for an offline session and publicize this event.
If DSP hates online play so much and his “Beast Mode” is being held back by online BS, let’s see how he stacks up against either Pros or even those below 1000pp, and see how well he plays without worrying about lag.
Of course, I could see him making a whole set of new excuses about how so-and-so character is cheap, or how his character’s cr.HP and st.MK was supposed to beat out everyone elses.
DSP will never realize that he just isn’t that good. When 600pp-700pp players give him trouble, and when his mix-up and footsie / spacing game is so poor and predictable, it’s no wonder he keeps losing.
