Every time I click this thread, I think “Why is it still alive?”. Then I see new content.

Its just an act guys. Getting an emotional response from so many of you is how he has managed to be so successful in building his brand. Every time the camera is on, the character comes out. He doesn’t really sit at tournaments and yell about input lag on HDTV’s when the cameras are off. If you genuinely dislike him, making threads like this only add to his popularity. You’d do better to just never mention him lol. Screaming and blaming the developers are his bread and butter. His most viewed videos are the ones in which he either loses or gets lost. It makes him money to not read instruction manuals and try to learn everything on the fly. I think a lot of you guys get pissy because you just don’t understand that he’s so obviously kidding or that he gets more views when he buys a Big Mac than your channel has ever gotten.
Don’t actually want him to be unpopular lol. Love to hate is a thing.

So since this has been an act for at least 5 years now, surely he would’ve “slipped up” or he would accidentally drop character either on or off camera. Can you link me to any information about him doing a nice thing for someone, accepting a loss well, basically anything that would show that DarkSydePhil is indeed only an Internet character and not how he acts in his daily life?

At least dsp actually plays. I’ve been watching a half hour of the replay channel and keep seein Godspirit vs Godpakia or something like that where it’s set at one round, blanka vs Cody, and Godspirit doesn’t play. Obvious booster with like 30,000 Bo and 7,000 pp. total bullshit.
So, the Kojima World Order has been taken down, one of the main youtube channels for a lot of those “DSP Tries It” videos, as well as that 8 hour “This is how you DON’T play Video Games” montage. So is Phil and/or his fans finally lashing out? I can’t exactly tell if he was the one who closed it down (it just says “This channel was closed and is no longer available” on where the channel should be), but at this point it wouldn’t surprise me. Wonder if he’s going after the other channels out there putting up videos like that…
