This is how you DON'T play Street Fighter (aka LOL DSP)

That was poetry.

Well, show a US map to EU guys and ask them to put States names, and you’ll get the same tbh.
Cali NY Miami Flo, ok but the rest… Nobody cares. No idea if knowing this seems legit somewhere.
So I wont blame DSP much.
Though the UK Spain FR Italy Germany should be well known just as the famous US states.

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Shabrout, this is the first time Ive seen your avatar!

I wonder if Akuma was a ginger before he accepted the dark hadou, or it made him have red hair somehow.

People really have no idea how much better these series are than his actual playthroughs. His Dark Souls playthrough is my favorite of his but the Don’t Play version cuts it down to the best parts.

That and the DON’T Play vids inspire you to actually try the games he (so horribly) fails at. I knew of Black Mesa but just never took the time to really delve into it. But seeing him play it so badly got me interested in it.

"Youtube is a piece of garbage." DSP

Wow, he fucking sucks at just about every conceivable aspect. Platforming, dodging, utilizing weapons, etc.

to give him credit, those megaman games are reallllllly hard

Too bad Phil never played Super Meat Boy.

To be fair: I’d use the pause trick in Mega Man too.

Okay, granted, the classic Mega Man games are hard. Screwing up at them is perfectly legitimate. The parts he screws up are the issue. Most other players would realize the Guts Man stage jumps require you to figure out a ‘schedule’ to follow.

Likewise, Wily 2’s first jump… stop doing that. Wait for the enemies, take 'em out, THEN jump.

Wily 4? “I thought that was a platform!” Why the hell would he!? This is one of the things the Mega Man games were usually (not always, but usually) very good about; they would introduce a new concept in a safe place and give you a few tries to get used to it, then bust out the hard version of the trick. It went out of his way to teach him how those particular rails and platforms work in the Guts Man stage. He simply forgot since then… which is admittedly one of his more common problems.

“Instant Death.” When you’re that low on health and gleefully jump into the boss’ arms? Of course it’s going to be fatal.

“And that’s how you do it!” Yeah, uh… that’s one way to do it. It’s the one you don’t crow about, though. If you use the elec beam trick, you’re supposed to chuckle and admit to the audience, “We would’ve been here a while if I did that legit. I’m not very good at this game. Hope you enjoyed learning about a classic game glitch, though!”

In the video regarding copyright, it’s funny how he talks about how his remaining viewers know who he really is and give him the benefit of the doubt. I take that back; it’s not ‘funny’, it’s disconcerting. This means there is an audience who sees his randomly belching, whiny, sexist, racist, incompetent self as endearing. They legitimately like him despite (or perhaps because of) that.

That’s a pity, but oh well. At least he has given me two good reminders today: Keep exercising, and re-play the Mega Man games sometime.

That one is a page ago. I played the game when I was 13 and I didnt die during this fight. I died once on the cruiser part of it though, but thats a little tricky cause you dont know what to expect.

Oh wait, its the whole playthrough clips. Cool!
