lol why would you loathe admitting that???
Damn you PSN!
Because for a long while, Abel has been one the characters I hated the most, probably because I understood him the least. From the outside, his roll special annoyed the shit out of me. Now, understanding how it works from the inside, makes it still annoy the shit out of me, but I can at least understand it now.
At least he’s not Rufus…
That’s all. I never thought I would like playing him that much since he didn’t seem to do anything for me in SF4. Then again, I never really gave him a chance in that game… (Also, Breathless helps.)
Post here instead, IMO:

Bison is the only character I’ve actually done a write-up for, so check it out.
But yeah, against Ken, the go-to AA is Low Forward. Stand Fierce, and Neutral Jump Roundhouse also play a role. Low Fierce if he really fucks up and jumps from a shitty spot. There are some times when you’re just gonna have to block.
As for Breathless, I think it’s pretty useless against Shotos. I use it against Akuma, just to keep him honest with his vortex. It works out for me, but I suspect it wouldn’t work so well against a really good Akuma. The US has zero of those, so it’s not something I’ve had to worry about… but I’ve got a sneaking suspicion I’d go with Soulless if I were to run into Tokido.
I use Breathless on Bison, but Soulless is probably better, honestly. I usually get my Ultra off in this match punishing stupid shit like EX Psycho Crusher or Headstomps or shitty jumps. You can do all of that with Soulless, and you always have the combo, also.
If you have a good read on what normals she will use (namely s.fierce, s.RH) and are the right ranges you can FA->Dash up->TT.
I not a big fan of it, but sometimes its the best you got against Chun.
