You don’t really need tournament footage to contribute character tech. Desk has all these crazy combo videos with godlike execution and all that but I’m yet to see any video of him playing at even a local.

Edit: Yeah it’s gotta be the reset I mentioned above because I remember Alukard saying how he abuses the hell out of it since everyone is afraid to be “infinited” (lol these words…) by his Iron Man.
I need to learn the Dante infinite so that I can create the same situations.
I’m still iffy on landing Dormammus infinite consistently but I have landed my air grab reset that high. Fun times. Yeah Desklamp that was his name and the way he’s acting seems to warrant that it could be him. In any case just ignore the childlike behavior.

@Air - Yeah, that’s it’s the one I posted above if you watch later in the vid. I knew my tech would be great for Spidey because of his notable teammates.
@Bees - You don’t need infinites, just scare them with downward TAC tech and the reset to get either DHC kill or from reset damage. Also, I’m not sure but it may be possible to catch them from sj jam session wih the same tech. I’m trying to make it from Zero’s ryuuenjin but it’s space dependent when not in the corner.
That is a good idea. Either way it may come in handy. I would love to try and run a Spidey/Doom/Phoenix team for that. I know the bird has tormented people but I have always had the hots for Jean Grey.
I forgot to mention this earlier but has anyone else had issues with the neutral tech reset concerning the TAC bait? I think there may be a larger delay between the j.:h: and the j.:s: making it a bit annoying but you should have time to analyze the height difference and compensate for that. I only messed with the neutral tech for about 5 minutes the other day so other input would be helpful.

Is the j.:s: missing completely? If it is still hitting them, you could try going at the same speed but adding a j. before the second j.:s:.
well I think I might’ve been timing it well enough to only have to do the j.:s: to j.:s: but I was just wondering how everyone else was going about picking up off of the neutral tech situation

Oh yeah you mean like on the fly when you have to react to how low they are. I still think that hitting j.:s: j. j.:s: would be easier to do, that way you have more time to react instead of seeing if you have to delay the first j.:s: a little bit more. I haven’t actually tried either in training room yet, so I’ll see what is more comfortable for me. You can set the air recovery to random, right?
Yeah, random is an option. Shoutouts to Capcom for doing training mode well.
I just practiced these fake TAC resets and checked which way of reacting to neutral techs is easier for me. I found that j.:s: j. j.:s: is easier to me and that works for both neutral and back tech, but not front. I guess its just personal preference, because I can’t really get j.:s: into j.:s: very consistently on forward techs anyway.
EDIT: wait, I fucked up. It doesn’t work on both back and neutral tech, just neutral. I just checked again to make sure.

We love you Alukard! Also I used to play Spidey/Iron Man/Doom(My Iron man was booty though) but I will say that you should try the webswing assist with that team as you can use it to get an extra repulsor blast or two in an Iron Man combo at the end. Like after air magic series you land and call Spider swing and then do smart bombs L and the webswing gives you enough time to get in a repulsor blast or two and then smart bombs again into Photon Cannon. That way if you already used missiles or something for the mixup, you can extend the combo still.
