Maybe I missed it, but I can’t find the answer. What happens when the opponent neutral jumps? Glad to see that someone beat me to an alternate, good UWT reset. Not getting the game until Friday and that was the first thing I was planning to do (long story).
What do you think of my original idea of outranging all tech directions with UWT (possibly with an assist)?
If the opponent neutral jumps they are free, for the time being. I was thinking about using an assist to layer it up but then it’s still in their favor as they could just take the hit and recover before Spidey does thus punishing him even more. The only reason this is hot right now is because it auto corrects the back input those screwing up the opponents inputs and saving Spidey in the process.
You people keep saying you can easily escape webball -> UWT but I have never seen anyone escape other than using Sentinel’s Hard drive hyper. Take this guy for instance:

He does it multiple times and no one hit him out of it or escaped. Find it very odd. Even has people forward teching and back teching.
Not to be rude but just because you don’t see it doesn’t mean others don’t. I’ve had it happen to me enough times fighting Storms, Weskers, Sentinels, Wolverines, and Vipers enough for me not to do it OFTEN. Doesn’t mean I don’t incorporate it or try to find ways to use it like I’ve done.
It’s cool because I can opt not to dhc to UWT if I think it won’t work. Also, you can’t really airdash up to escape because you’d get hit by the arrows - I’m thinking if they airdash forward I can just reverse my controls for UWT and it should hit. Maybe Dante/Cap/Sent/Chun can double jump back out of the setup, but they have to do it before my super flash I would suppose [since dhc’s are near-instant if not instant]
It’s ALSO cool because I can set it up with spidey on point with a raw tag or even a TAC.
yea ive been running spidey/hawkeye/wesker since day one and the chem with spidey and hawkeye is sick. the kiss of fire dhc into web throw covers one of hawkeyes biggest holes in peep who want to super jump in on him. also being able to MS, KOF,Gimlet, back into MS is pretty sick and fancy. another thing i love bout hawkeye is that his assist has long hitstun that i can combo web zip from maybe half a screen away. so ill jump up call my assist , then dash behind them and if it hit i get a combo into web zip, if not i get free pressure. also finally web ball assit actually helps hawkeye, it makes it so u cant crouch or slide under hawkeyes arrows. Quick thing ive been doing with spidey and wesker though. at max jump height if u perform a web zib spidey actually pushes himself further into the air and causes the screen to follow him up a bit. well if u call wesker b4 doing the zip when the screen scrolls up its makes it a bit difficult to see him and his low shot. if the shot hits it combos into web zip for around 700k w one meter, when people catch on to the trick i like useing hawkeye assist and cancelling my zip into a dash for the crossover
Anyway for combo annotations? I like to print them out and then practice them, also they are ‘Basic’ those guys dont know how to play the game its not mincraft or MW3 thanks
