no one can guarantee that but I didnt notice anything out of the ordinary considering the lag I started with

I have some combos that I came up with. They are uploading so I will post them in here

I use Ghost Rider’s Chain assist that causes a web bounce as well. Do you think that would work in place of Iron Fist’s assist in your combo?

his combo works with Chain of Rebuttal. I didnt test the DHC from it but if you scroll up I already have the damage outlined for it.

Correction I put the damage for two web throws into MS, all the same the combo still works its just the DHC’ing after CA will be slightly different since you have to DHC at the last possible moment without Spidey recovering into Ghost Rider’s bike

I have some stuff I came up with here. Not sure how useful it is…Hope you guys like it…

This one is a standalone combo that 694k damage; which isn’t bad. Maybe you guys can build on it

You can easily DHC for more damage as well as this builds 1 meter. Also it is worth noting that you have to be in the corner for this to work.

I am actually pretty proud of these as they look pretty cool. The 1st Combo variation does 769k with DHC into Ghost Rider doing 864k(for his Hellfire Maelstrom) and 910k with Spirit of Vengeance. The 2nd Combo variation goes into a web throw into Maximum Spider and does 756k with DHC into Ghost Rider Spirit of Vengeance for 900k, the last combo is just something I was messing around with and does decent damage 767k without DHC.

The Doom assist is just one of many. Any OTG assist should do. But the timing when calling the assist would be different.

wow… I didn’t think that web throw into air dash OTG zip would work. it’s a good thing I already run Spidey/Doom (missiles) so this vid REALLY gave me some good ideas

I’m starting to think the OTG zip with Plasma Beam isn’t going to work very well

Actually after testing it some more it works very well. In the corner after a long combo you still get :h: web throw into MS or reset opp, midscreen or corner and midscreen after a web throw, air throw or just early in a combo you can OTG into beam and still combo off it. I actually just wanted to get some matches uploaded to my page so I ran this team. I havent practiced this team in this game yet so that’s why you kept seeing me launch in the corner as opposed to going into :h: web throw because I didn’t know it worked at the time. I’m in the process of changing my main teams to Spidey, Iron Man, Sentinel; Spidey, Chun Li, Sentinel; Spidey, Storm, Chun Li, and Ghost Rider, Hawkeye, Sentinel. There are other characters I want to test out but for the moment these are the teams I’m going to start focusing on with my Spidey, Doom, Sentinel being a fall back team. Obviously I need to practice with my Doom and Sentinel as much as my Spidey :lol:

Couldn’t you also do crawler assault after the plasma beam? Also, how do Doom rocks go with Spidey’s OTG?

No CA still has too much start up and the hit stun is damn near gone after the beam hits. I was substituting rocks but then realized that I still with an MvC2 mindset and need a ‘team’ set up and not just a ‘combo’ setup. Rocks are too slow to do anything for me that beam can’t already do. The most I could have saw my team using rocks for is wake up lockdown in a spot but that’s just one benefit as opposed to the many that beam gives me. Rocks work well in the corner with his OTG but don’t leave the opponent in a semi free fall state afterwards so sometimes is seems like you have to be faster with the rocks than the beam since spidey is coming from the air and by the time he lands rocks would have been sent. Beam on the other hand only feels slightly less hard to connect with afterwards, IMO, but on top of that midscreen I get more consistent followups off an OTG with beam, if an opponent is playing a fullscreen game I can punish assist in most situations, plus I can use the assist to help my approach faster than Drones would.

Thanks for the help I started using Dr. Doom when I heard that he was getting a good amount of buffs and I switched between the 3 assists that he has a lot. Hopefully I won’t be too far behind and some people might still be getting used to the game once I get it.

All his assist are good just depends on how you run your team but always look at the assist for more than just the move. As in how long does it take to come out, what does the move do (lockdown, attack, push back on block, stun on hit, etc), how it can be applied to the team, when hit as starter how can you follow up, and what combos can you use it in when you hit cleanly with out it.

Part 2 was suppose to be up by now but youtube said it failed on one tab but said it was 100% on another. I’m about to go to bed but it’s uploading right now and then in the morning before work I will start uploading part three. At lunch I’ll come back and organize the vids for four and five and hopefully start uploading one of the two before I have to return to work. Trust me I want to get yall a combo video soon, but yall are gonna have to wait :lol: I think I may actually end up taking this game serious so this week I’ll be focusing on Storm Iron Man and Sentinel so I can run my new teams and not look so bad when Spidey dies :lol:

Phantasy you are probably right, like I said I just threw that together on a whim and tested it out slightly more afterwards. It’ll probably do more damage after mashing than web throw into MS but it’ll also reset the momentum due to the recovery of CA and the fact they bounce away from you. What I really want to do is find a way to web throw to midscreen then finish with CA into MS but at this particular moment I can’t think of an assist that I want to use that will do that just yet. As a fall back though going midscreen with the web throw does at least allow zip resets.
