OOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHH C-A-T-S CATS CATS CATS!!! ;O
Finally found the time that Rahsaan plays in the link I posted 2 posts up; it’s 1:41:43.
I HATE CATS!!! With the exceptions of actual ferocious felines and ones named Felicia and Cheetara
Please, please, just call me Z
Why is he using j:l: after web swing? Pretty weird. It’s like he hasn’t been in the lab.
He’s always used :l: that’s his style
Please, please, just call me Z
I was thinking that he was using :l: :l: :h: after Web Swing because it’s easier to cross under for the :h: xx Web Throw that way; he could have super Web Throw-Happy combos with Sentinel and Doom assists, lol. To each their own!
Please, please, just call me DADDY
It’s just kinda weird considering he can do the same with :h: which has the same easy cross under effect, more damage and less HSD. To each his own I guess.

No I was about to update the link. People said they couldn’t hear me so I raised the audio on my voice. Check now I updated first post
dang it
but a Q Xero… in the cH xx Spider sting, when should you do the cancel? I think my timing is off because I’m not covering the amount of ground you do in the vid…
I cancel it as soon as I throw out the c:h: you may want to practice it some though I’ve been kara canceling in games for a while so it may not be so hard as me as it is for others.
good tutorial, xero. been messing around with it in training mode and having some fun.
noticed that every so often i get it to work even with the opponent’s in the corner the whole time. very rarely happens but it seems like if it’s something that can be utilized consistently, could lead to some really damaging stuff with my team. is this normal/anything you’ve utilized at all?
[S]i’ll try to get video of it up later today if i can

i didn’t connect the web throw afterwards, but it can be done
I first found it accidentally when doing a web throw combo. I didn’t see much use for it at the time but then when INerd showed his combo I got to thinking how to make his combo better. It worked along with my next theory after that but I wrote it off since Doom had to be very close when his assist was called. Anyways I started thinking bout crossups and getting more web throws then eventually just came back to this and wanted to see if I could use it after a combo if I was relatively close to a corner. I’m still practicing it as well to be 100 with it but I haven’t yet tried to do it in a match.
You don’t have to kara the sting actually. As long as the c:h: hits a juggles opponent, once you do the spider sting, it almost always crosses up. At least that’s what I do and have no problems confirming it. As for the kara, you’ll really need that one when you’re near the corner with a raw web throw, kara sting, :l: web throw. Combowise, you shouldn’t be worrying too much on the quick c:h: xx for the kara, as long as you hit c:h: to confirm just cancel that one to :l: sting.
You should try this with Nemesis instead of Storm, pretty sure you’d get 2 web throws at the end.
Max just put up an Online Warrior episode about Spidey, & mentioned Xero! Congrats man, Max knows about you

Lol, nice to see Renhoff and KillaB aka Sasa make guest appearances in there. I was actually talking to Xero when he saw this pop up on front page, and we’re going to collaborate on 2 videos that show how every character can get out of this supposed “hard to get out of UWT corner reset” (he’s doing Capcom, I gots Mahvel). We were actually discussing how we actually think how everyone focuses so much on the UWT resets and everything that it’s hindering the growth of the Spider-man’s metagame and most of the Spider-man players themselves. Sure, catching someone with UWT is AWESOME, but not many people are willing to experiment after they have that under their belt because it’s far easier to master, although it’s purdy flawed.
Welp, I’mma cut this post shorter than my usual so I can start recording Marvel characters beatin’ up ol’ Petey. =(
I miss the multiquote button
Yeah I was thinking about something similar while talking to Airborne. He was saying a fullscreen THC can catch an opponent after a web throw before they hit the ground. I was thinking maybe if CA recovers before the second super, not only would it open up new set ups for players who use tatsu but also still allow another web throw. Something else to mess with.
Thanks Ketchup.
Yeah like Airborne was saying, it’s a good super and all and yes it catches people off guard, but it isn’t inescapable. For players who use it as a go to setup, they run a high chance of losing what momentum they had, plus the meter they built in the process and against some characters run the chance of losing Spidey.
