i can’t take all this fighting
there is no fighting, metric and I have both clearly stated we have love for each other. Yes Homo. I even gave him a shoutout in my re-record of Episode 2 =)
nothing but love:tup:
Thx croyd I appreciate it, not sure if you guys give a shit but I haven’t given up on the series or anything, I planned to release another video two weeks prior to my first one but I’m no longer living with the person I had be my record dumby. I’m in transition to move into my own place so I don’t have my computer setup, so I won’t really be able to touch anything third stike related for a good few more weeks, and unfortunatly for me this means even the launch of third strike online. Also if u live in socal and want to get together and collab, I need help recording clips and other shit, or we can figure out how to do it online, peace.
yeah i was wondering what happened to this. theres alot of 3S that current players know that just isnt taught in yt vids (Relatively easy, common, and useful stuff.)
Do appreciate it when you get back into it!
Metric, I’d like to help out with video editing if you need someone. Not sure what would be the best way online though…maybe desktop sharing or maybe just handing off storyboards back and forth.
guys, get with the new times and use Dropbox.
ah, the cloud. yeah, i use google docs for that. I put all my crap there. I should have thought of that earlier.
Cool man, I really don’t know what I’m doing as far as video editing goes, so if you have any cool ideas or tips, shoot em’ my way and I’ll give it a whirl. I’m just thinking that I’ll probably have to do it on vent/skype over GGPO on pc, so I can fraps. I’m moving into my new place on friday and should have internet hopefully before next friday… so hopefully we can do it then.
you could probably make equally effective videos on the following:
-wakeup options
-kara distance gains
-baits (i guess better used/known as frame traps post sf4)
-using all of the above to establish patterns and mindgames
but i like keeping with the themes of “this is not sf4” and “in 3s you always have options.” that first vid did a really good job of that, and should help in getting people to take advantage of the mind games and mixups in 3s.
credit to you and mr. teamcanada-- there was no youtube years ago; the best thing that taught mechanics was talking to someone who actually understood the game. or picking up the anniversary collection guide.
combine this with c-royd 3s training regime, and dig up mopremes old character videos, and i think people could realistically learn the game without running into frustration.
Incredibly well put together with amazing presentation. This really helps explain the nature of 3S more, I feel. I expect to see millions of new guys trying to parry my AA after seeing this video and not realizing that Ibuki b.mp hits twice.
=3
12+ years of 3s and I don’t think most people remember to input two parries vs Elena air to air ~_~
From a complete 3s n00b: THANKS!
More episodes, please.
Can anybody elaborate on this “training regimen” you speak of?
I assume he means watching his videos.
