So I have been playing a little more here and there and so far my team is Chun-li/Zero. I like Chun-li’s supers especially kikosho because its helped create distance and save zeros ass in a DSC,and the one you can super jump cancel after into combo ( srk movement AA ). Zero Im still getting used to.
I don’t use Chun-Li very much, but for Chun’s kick super, you can actually do her grounded lightning legs special (hold up and mash attack after the launch portion of kick super) to short ground combo to launch, then end with air combo.
so Kicks supers,Sj cancel to Legs, then does it follow then down and leave them stunned so you can relaunch?
Yeah you can air combo your opponent after you hit with Chun Li’s lightning leg super. Simply hold up and attack when the last kick hits.

When lightning leg super is near its end, hold up and mash out lightning legs. Afterwards you can do a normal jump and do her jumping C loop into relaunch or you can dash forward and do a small basic combo into launch.

Been slowly working on tvc, Been playing a lot of SSF4,Tekken 6, TVC and MVC2. Honestly TVC seems more technical at times compared to all those games. Been working on my Chun-li/Zero team. So far Ive been looking for DHC bait/traps to set up Chuns launching super.

Have you been able to get some matches in offline? Or are you using online?
All offline arcade mode for now, Im kinda looking for a Storm style run away/rush down character and chun and zero are the closest and they can DHC with each other greatly.

Ah, sorry. I meant to ask if you have been able to play against human opponents (offline/online).
I haven’t seen that team used yet. Kinda curious to how it plays versus human opponents…

Ryry used Zero/Chun on me at EVO I think. He just did a lot of resets and mixups to get damage in.
I like casshan right now, Kbeast showed me some sexy shit, I like his moves/specials/supers so Now I need to work on him and… YEAH
Frank/Casshan is a fun team. A certain Japanese player used to use Casshan/Polimar in CGoH and a once did a full combo that killed off Karas full life bar. I still miss Casshan restand combos!

Chun’s cool. Real quick, has a pretty simple loop that you can go into in a lot of different ways, real good lvl 3 (unless it’s used in a combo thats more than like 4 hits where it gets buffered down to ass), Fast assist that sets up some good stuff for a lot of characters, L Legs super can go into the loop, and some other good tools. Her damage might be kinda ass, but she makes up for it with speed + loops + crossups.
Oh and a tip for her LL combos:
Midscreen I think the easiest way to set up her LL combos is normal ground chain, to a (5c, 2c, press C twice more) dash forward and 2a or you can hold UF during the LL and press j.b, j.c, Jump cancel C, IAD C and start the loop.
To explaint he part in the parenthesis; It takes 4 inputs to activate LL, so 5c counts as 1, 2c as 2, and then you only have to add 2 more to get a quick 4 inputs and come out with LL. So make sure to mash those C’s out pretty quick.
Another option is after the ground chain rather then the 2c, you can 3c, but you just negate the j.b when going into the loop.
In the Corner, just stick with the 2c setup.
From the LL super; once chun makes her final turn just hold up and mash out C 6 times, and then follow up as usual.
I know you didn’t really ask, but I hope it helps a lil.

Team is now Saki/Casshan Very much what I like, Rush down combo and destroy with Casshan and run away and create a obstacle course with Saki, nice so far and I can deal with giants.
Saki/Casshern have not seen much of this so maybe you can make it work. As myself being a Saki player I use her with Morrigan but I think Morrigan takes great dedication to learn her fully. Royal should be uploading some vids from recent tourney so feel free to take a look at final set of round robin. I lost both matches when I went Morrigan/Saki but I have older ones using that team since it was my main team. So I still use that team but my main team is Blade/Morrigan. Maybe you can learn some stuff from watching my Saki.
