Serious question I’ve been thinking about lately. And it’s talked about on the monday night wars DVD.
Vince said he sold what was to become WCW to Jim Crockett. Then Crockett sold it to Ted Turner. So does this mean Vince technically has owned WCW twice? Or what was it called when Vince first owned what was to become WCW? Kinda sounds like a really long master plan by Vince too. Feel free to correct me too. Just what I remember at the moment.

WWF bought Georgia Championship Wrestling for the time slot on TBS, they then sold the slot to Crockett, who moved his opperations to Atlanta.
Crockett’s show on TBS was called “World Championship Wrestling”. When Turner bought Jim Crockett Promotions, he changed the company name to World Championship Wrestling and WCW left the NWA.
