I doubt that can happen now, they had their chance early last year but I think Santino as is is so ingrained into us, that no matter if he gets a few new gimmicks will always remember jokey jobber Santino.

He’s also been a legit joke character in WWE for quite a while. Trying to put him over as a deadly MMA fighter now will take a fuck ton of work, and WWE would rather just have Cena sell more shirts.

Oh I know he can actually grapple and wrestle and I also knew he’d done MMA before (isn’t he something like 6-1?) but when he’s coming out as Santino every week to job it kind of makes you lose sight of what he can actually do and achieve.
nah you all arent thinking seriously its very easy to make him a threat. this isnt the retarded character they had from a few years back, and he has shown in the past to have hints of his grappling background. its basically about writing a storyline or opponent who truly pushes him to the edge, where he does something to have his character essentially evolve or die situation.prob bring a fake family into the mix or history.
then you put on a series of technical matches, that progress as the series goes that come to ahead at some ppv. at the end you can essentially kill off the persona at the next raw. as he comes off explaining how he grew, changed from this fued.
I know they CAN do it if they actually wanted to, I just have no faith in the WWE writers to pull it off right or for them to give Santino enough interest long enough for it to come to fruition.
Only reason I can think of is that his suspension hurt the momentum being built in the tag division.
That’s just so they can get more T&A in the short Diva segments. The only pairs that actually make sense are the Bellas, LayCool (gone), and Beth/Nattie.

Naw. It was partially because he has been airing his frustrations with the company on twitter for months now (even before his suspension) and he told everyone that r-truth was the other person who failed but wasn’t going to be suspended due to him being a main event guy now.
I do doubt, I don’t trust WWE to pull it off right if they bother. I just don’t see them ever doing that or the only joke character we would have is the annoying and unfunny Hornswoggle and they would rather focus resources on clear winners.
