AJ has been offered a WWE contract multiple times but has turned it down every time. He’s a very family oriented christian guy. He doesn’t want to be away from his wife and kids. Plus part of his signing bonus when he first joined TNA was them helping pay for his wife’s nursing school. So because of that and other perks in his contract he’s very loyal to them despite the bullshit they pull with him creatively. Besides people like Hogan, Bischoff and Flair, AJ is one of the highest paid guys in the company.
TNA sucks so much I can’t watch it, but I miss watching Styles’ matches. Even better was watching Styles’ back in ROH, because he would really cut loose in those matches. I haven’t watched a Style’s match for years though because TNA is just so ludicrously horrendous.
My only hope is now that they either cut Styles or WWE buys TNA. They steadfastly refuse to fire Bischoff and Russo so I steadfastly refuse to watch their shitty show. Maybe Vince can get HBK to talk to AJ.

WWE tried to get him and Abyss acouple years back. That is when Abyss got that sweet creative deal he has now lol.
The best of AJ Styles TNA dvds are actually really good. Back when they were NWA-TNA and before Kurt Angle signed (which is right before they got expanded to 2 hours)
But yeah, AJ is easily one of the best workers in the world. His nip up-rana is so amazing.
I still think AJ is second to Punk.

Program wise I’d say Punk. His feud with Raven is legendary.
Work wise I’d say Joe. His matches with Punk and Kobashi are just…breath taking.
General “wow” factor and general over all work ability I’d say AJ. He always brought something new to the table. Even if it was pulling the Styles Clash off in a new way. Like when he counter Punks shining wizard in the match to crown the first Pure Wrestling Champion.
