Because he was in his 30s and she was like 14 and it was his friends younger sister.
He channeled that inner Macho Man, “Hey baby you wanna snap into this Slim Jim? OOOH YEAH!!”. How hard it must be to impress a 14 year old girl, good going wrasslin’ society.
Black listing after that is unsurprising.
I never watch TNA, but I decided to watch a clip from Impact. I watched the Jarretts’ wedding vows and it was hilarious. Kurt Angle went from priceless face, to pulling out a random axe.
I don’t know the history of TNA, but it seems like whenever someone debuts, or comes back, they’ll win the Heavyweight championship. Also, how many “TNA guys” have actually won the belt outside of Joe and Styles? I swear every time I read anything about TNA’s HWC, it’s either an old WCW, ECW, OR WWE guy winning it.
NWA/TNA champs have been Jerrett, Angle, Sting and AJ a billion times each with dudes like Christian, Rhino, Raven, Shamrock, Killings, Joe and Abyss filling in for short periods.
So it’s just Abyss, Joe, and AJ. It sort of depends on your definition of “TNA guys”, but I’d say those 3 guys. It’s a large part of what’s fucked up with TNA if you ask me.
Fun Fact: While Jarrett has never held the current TNA title that they introduced in 2007, he had the NWA Title for a whopping 1,006 days during the first 4 1/2 years of TNA’s existence.
You remember that land of bones area in The Lion King? Where all the old animals nobody wants around go off and die?
That’s TNA.
Those are definitely TNA guys, in my opinion. That’s really sad.
Since the random Asylum days I’ve always seen them as the Island of Misfit Toys.
Teddy isn’t banned from roh. He was at Final Battle 09.

Its over for TNA
Have to watch that when I get home in a bit, but yes, I feel 100% sure that TNA is going to fold in less than a year.
One good thing I like about TNA (In the rare instances they are used) is the Tag Team and Lightweight division. I really want to see that stuff move over to WWE if possible, it would inject an adrenaline shot of awesome into said divisions and get some respectable matches going.
Motor City, Beer Money (Possible), Ink, Inc. (Unlikely), etc. would just help, I can only think of one WWE Tag-Team and it’s Koslov and Santino which is rather pathetic.
Come to think of it what happened to the Cruiser weight belt? I like the tiny man divisions in wrestling, lot more pizazz.
TNA was pretty legit until they got expnaded to two hours and Kurt Angle got signed. Sure, the story lines were still screwy as shit and ridiculous. But 8/10 times the matches were solid and really fun to watch, even if they had russoriffic endings.
Watch the Best of X-Division, Samoa Joe, AJ Styles (both of them), Christopher Daniels and Christian
Those are pretty much the golden years of TNA.
they had a brief glimpse of awesome when Scott D’amore was booking the knockouts (that big Gail Kim/Kong Feud was pretty much all him) and the Hamada vs. Daffney hardcore match was him as well)
edit: the moment Christian lost the TNA title is when they really went to shit. I think a lot of people will agree with that (especially Jae)
I will agree that TNA was more good than bad up until they started redesigning the product in 2007. There was always bullshit but for the most part they would put on some matches that made it worth your time and money.
I still want a fucking explanation for why they didn’t rebook the main event when Hardy showed up looking like shit. They could have had him removed from the building by security, but instead they opted to let him go out and fast count him. I guess that buries him worse but it also buries the company worse.
TNA PPVs in 05 were shitting on everything that WWE was doing.
Wow that describes when I was watching and when I gave up perfectly. I used to really like TNA because they’d put on good matches. Then they got Russo and things got worse and worse. They are seriously retarded. They used to be an alternative to WWE but when they tried to be WWE they just became a really crappy version of it.
They refuse to fire Russo, Bischoff and Hogan. I wanted to give Hogan a chance but he brings in all these stupid people so it’s impossible. TNA just really sucks.
WTF…are those the TNA cheerleaders from way back when?
Yeah TNA from about '05-early '08 was good stuff, I preferred it to WWE during that time period just because of the solid matches, mid-card talent and the energy you could feel.
It’s why I am so critical of TNA now, it WAS good for a while even with Russo running the show. I don’t understand why they would change a good thing and go into the sham they are now, it’s straight horrible.
I thought it was as soon as Dixe Carter showed herself it went to siht…
I knew they would never be the same again when they decided it wasn’t good enough to be a great wrestler and put on awesome matches.
From then on it was doomed to be a WWE knock-off and the company I had enjoyed was dead.
Yep thats Bill and Doug
Their video speaks truth, I agree with everything they are saying so far and I’m only 15 minutes in. It’s enjoyable, funny, and it makes a lot of damn sense.
The Bischoff and Steiner hate is funny as shit.
