The Wrestling Thread v. Sin Cara - Go Go Sin Cara Rangers!

I haven’t seen him on RAW since he fucked up the shout-out. Smackdown dunno, haven’t been able to catch it recently.

My surprise cut will be Sheamus, I know that despite being squashed a lot he IS being used, but just seems odd.

Oh, and I hope Bourne gets a push.

What station broadcasts FCW? I live in FL but I’ve never seen it.

IF the WWE began spring cleaning, I see the following people getting cut.

RAW
Darren Young
Ninja Tarver
Primo
Kidd
Ryder

SD
Hawkins (who somehow is still part of WWE?)
Baretta
Reks

When they cut Ted DiBiase and Goldust I’ll be a very unsuprised boy.

Just watched raw. I thought the Rock’s retort to Cena was kinda lame, and i hate to say it (or repeat it) but it looked as if the only thing that the rock didn’t do in his rebuttal was cry because it sounded as if his feelings where hurt. In short, (i’m not a fan of Cena), but the Rock lost to Cena in terms of talk. That freestyle was solid and, while i didn’t expect the Rock to give a better rebuttal (i hoped) i never ever did i expect the Rock’s retort to be lamer than then the one who dissed him.

As i recall, the Cena we have now is just like the Rock during 2002-2004, which was a corny wwe-face. If you recall the Rock during those years, he was terribly corny to watch some times, which was why he was booed when he faced Hogan and Lesnar.
For some reason, the Rock became loud as hell; he even slipped in talking in 3rd person here and there - starting to refer to himself in first person and yelling all over the place and his talkers where getting lamer to hear. late 90’s Rock the bad ass because he would seriously talk shit with out yelling all over the place. He had that conceited-jock like gimmick who innovated the whole “wearing Sun glasses to the ring” gig. That’s my opinion though…

Raw was nice in the end.

I’m confused on how so many people thought that promo sucked.

He wasn’t being the normal Rock because he was personally attacked by Cena in the past and he got fed up with it and it finally all came to a head. It was straight business Rock. Not pastry vagina eating, miscellaneous object sodomizing, retarded one liner rock. It was him being serious and I was totally okay with that. It brought their feud to a whole new level.

Sure a lot of the feeling/importance of it was taken away by the fact the Rock did it via Satellite but I still thought the promo was great.

People need to take their god damn nostalgia glasses off.

RE Annual Spring Cleaning by WWE:
I don’t expect a lot of shocking firings. Probably NXT guys they lost faith in, guys they may have sent back to developmental (Tarver and Shep especially. the company loves Husky Harris but hated his gimmick)

I expect a lot of floaters to be fired too. Masters was supposed to get a push after the Rumble but I guess they pushed it back or it was just dropped. Tyson Kidd and DH Smith come to mind…

iunno. I expect Kong and Tyler black to debut before Summer though.

Sin Cara will probably debut during or right after WM.

Your whole post is just way off base bro

hmm… i’m just stating my opinion on the Rock’s via satellite thing. It wasn’t entertaining at all to me; in some cases it just felt painful to watch because he was actually bitching. As the other guy said, he wasn’t “normal rock”… i guess since he wasn’t talking in 3rd person when he was defending himself. I think Stuart heiden made me see the whole thing in a different point of view though, so i agree that it was good that it actually took the fued to another level. A serious one.

Just in short, Cena was the only guy i know so far that managed to get on the Rock’s nerve like that out of a verbal diss (which is what Rock was known best at).

Y2Dancing with the Starssssssssss.

He’ll win, judges would be to afraid of the Walls of Jericho to vote against him.

Dance with partner, then lift…

Then suddenly, CODEBREAKER BAH GAWD

Hypocrites!

Stop that BAH GAWD  it reminds me of JR doing it which always brings the lulz, shit is to funny.

He really was responding to Cena’s legitimate criticism towards The Rock for past few years.

Too be honest, I believe Cena is jealous of The Rock. He’s the face of the WWE, puts in a lot work outside of the ring, etc. Yet, for the past seven years people kept asking for The Rock, about The Rock, and unfairly, Cena was often compared to The Rock. Which is why Cena started taking subtle jabs towards him.

All that being said, I thought The Rock’s promo was a good response. It was a serious response, to something that happened outside of the ring, that wasn’t scripted.

It’s all a work anyway.

Holy Shit Raw got like 9.3 or something rating in mexico. Fuck that’s huge, lol AAA did like 2.8 : (

Fuck!

Also yeah Rock was serious and right, Cena shouldn’t bad mouth him and Rock put him in his place. Whether it was scripted or not I don’t know, but he looked and sounded PISSED and you do not want to fuck with The Rock of all people.

I just hope that this gives Cena a good kick in the ass, and see if his blind followers will finally question their loyalty and apparel buying. Miz was pretty spot on with his comments to Cena, he’s just a walking advertisement to buy his stupid crap.

lol im really curious to see if the rock does a heel turn of some kind. or they try to play him more as the heel.

He’s the best in the world at what he does…DANCING! :woot:

Wouldn’t it be neat if he talked back to one of the judges, “Do you understand what I’m saying to you right now?”

It’s pretty obvious that AAA has been put under notice for this. Every broadcast now has the commentators take potshots at the WWE.

There was also a poll taken recently down here asking which is their favorite wrestler. No surprise, 6 out of the top 10 were WWE wrestlers (Cena was #1 BTW). :wow:

Gotta give credit to the WWE though…they managed to break through a tough market like Mexico and steal away fans from the aged-old established lucha libre market. That’s some achievement.

Still surprised at why Rock didn’t return the horrible movie comments back to Cena. I mean, it’s not like “The Marine”, “12 Rounds”, and “Legendary” were HUGE box office smash hits (not sure, but I call that Be Cool made more money in theatres than those 3 movies PUT TOGETHER).

prob cause 99% of his movies are wwe movies. you diss his movies your dissing the company…not a smart move imo.

Dude what you smoking “The Marine” was the break out comedy of the year.

I’d have to go with Maxx, but I was really waiting for Rocky to tear into Cena’s shitty films and was bummed when he didn’t.

for the past year they have been getting 8’s and 7’s in mexico. Those are attitude era numbers.

They also get 6’s in japan outdoing new japan, noah, and all japan combined

seriously Wwe emphasis on world
