Austin and Bret were on the E&C Podcast recently and talked about their WM13 match.
I’ve heard Austin talk about this match several times and have read about it in Bret’s book, but I never get tired of listening to the analysis of the match.
You can tell Austin has so much respect for Bret for putting him on the map and going out of his way for him…especially when he talks about Bret doing the blade job and offering to cover for him if they get in trouble by Vince.

I think they could save both Brock and Roman by running an angle of stripping Brock of the belt and giving it to Roman as the #1 contender. Then, slowly turn Roman heel as an entitled paper champion who never beat Brock for the strap. Have Heyman campaign to get Brock a shot at reclaiming what he never lost over the next few months as Roman transforms into a heel champion.
The question has never been IF Roman can be fixed. He could easily be fixed. The issue is, WWE is never going to go for it so there’s almost no point in bringing it up.
