We were informed that last nightâs angle involving Bobby Lashley and Kevin Owens was done to explain Owensâ needing time off for knee surgery. It was conveyed to us that Owens is not expected to miss too much time, so it doesnât appear to be a major injury. During the match, Lashley attacked Owensâ knee and then repeatedly wrapped it around the post after the match. This also saw Lashley turn heel and had been something that people with the company had been pushing for. For his part, Owens was received strongly by the Chicago audience as a babyface and it will be interesting to see how he is booked when he returns and if they opt to turn him or keep him in the heel role.
