So far I have to say Smackdown won and they haven’t even gotten going yet.
KO/Sami is a talent loss, but they needed something fresh to do. Picking up Miz negates that loss easy, especially since they already seem to be running with a Bryan feud.
Losing Jinder, Ziggler, and Corbin? Is there any person upset by that? Pluses for Smackdown all around imo. The only loss there is in numbers, just get some filler wrestlers or call ups and they’re fine.
Lost Riot Squad, picked up Iconic Duo. Again Smackdown wins.
Losing Roode would have hurt if Smackdown ever used him right. Face Roode is just a generic good guy with a great theme.
If Smackdown picks up any combo of Almas, Balor or Rollins this becomes a curbstomp.
Smackdown has totally won this shakeup. The Miz was already a good get but now they have
Jeff Hardy (say what you will about him; he’s a huge draw)
Samoa Joe
Sanity
The good brothers
And asuka.
Big Cass and absolution are whatever. Could care less but the rest are huge names
