Naw, the way that match ended I can easily see the blow off match to their feud being at survivor series weekend or even Rumble or Mania weekend. Though Ciampa was the winner it wasn’t clean really and it didn’t make Johnny look weak and didn’t hint at that being the blow off match. There is still a lot of meat left on the bone as it were.
Uh, the takeover was OK. I have no bad feelings about it but it wasn’t great either. A rare miss from nxt. There wasn’t a bad match on the card just none of the matches left me going “wow” or wanting to rewatch it the next day like the past 3-4 takeovers have when they aired. It was just OK.
Remember…Alexa was often compared to Trish.
Gargano/Ciampa feud is definitely not over but it will be on ice for a while. Obviously Gargano can’t win as revenge often overrides his common sense. He won’t be beat Ciampa unless he stops being stupid.
