They arenāt really thug minorities. This is honestly who they are if you listen to interviews. ALOT of Samoans have the black cadence especially ones who grew up in West coast. This is less a gimmick and more like them being themselves turned up to 1000. Itās like the Briscoe being super Uber rednecks in roh

Lol I didnt follow them, but every time I ran into one of the Briscoes promos Iād die laughing.
The thug part is minor to me. I do love the unapologetic heel attitude though. Dudes are in 100% āFuck your couch you darkness motherfuckersā mode. I appreciate that.

Usos/Briscoes would probably have the better buildup. Those promos would be fire.
Tama is good on the mic but would get murdered in a feud with the Usos, especially if Roman and/or Rock make guest appearances.
Man I wish promoters would put egos aside and make a dream match PPV happen. Even then it would be impossible because deciding who goes over would be a coin flip every time. The buyrate split would be a nightmare too.
My only issue with the briscoes isnāt even their fault. When Gabe Sapolsky had the book when ever heād push a hot new tag team They usually beat the briscoes for the titlesā¦which is fine. Helps the new guys out.
But then when the crowd got cold towards the new team (usually Gabeās fault for having bad follow up feuds) heād just put the belts right back on the briscoes cause they were safe bet and always over whether they were face or heels.
It got really annoying.
Jay really could go far solo. He was always potentially the Jeff hardy with better fundamentals

I personally really like him and thinks heās great at what he does as a mouthpiece and distraction. Him turning down 300k over 5 years is a respectable move. If he turned down $300k per year then I think heās being too cocky due to the current state of talent dissatisfaction.

I donāt think he makes 300k per year on the indies, but I also donāt think he wants to waste his athletic prime being a manager/comedy jobber. Being able to actually work will get him a better WWE contract down the road when heās ready to slow things down.
