SoâŚAmbrose told management over Rumble weekend that he has no intentions of signing a new contract when his expires at the end of April. Apparently heâs been pissed about the creative direction of his character and has been for several years. His recent heel turn was the straw that broke the camels back. He told his inner circle, creative and management that he is âfucking tired of the hokey shitâ and that he feels like his character has lost all the âedgeâ he once had when he was with the shield and shortly after their split.
Ambrose made it clear he wasnt trying to get more money or get creative control of his character. Heâs just tired of the bullshit and doesnât see an end in sight.
When asked about deans situation several wrestlers said âheâs impossible to read. We just know heâs fed up.â

Sounds like the writing as been on the wall for a while now for Dean. Itâs probably time for him to move on.
As someone who followed Dean ambrose on the Indyâs when he was Jon Moxely this simply isnât true. His wrestling styles from the Indyâs to wwe are like night and day. He wrestled a very intense smash mouth style on the indies. In the wwe he wrestles a very safe style.

He wasnât exactly âczwâ style. Like, yeah he did death matches but that was early in his career before he said âfuck it. Iâm way better than thisâ
This is a really good match from he first got signed to developmental and regal was still semi-active. Gives you an idea on how he use to wrestle before WWE made him WWE-ize his style.

I mean, youâre not wrong. Almost everyone changes their style when they get signed to WWE though. Seth Rollins sealed away so much of his aresonal when he signed. He doesnât do the Phoenix splash, small package driver, grounded super kick, tons of other stuff. They donât let Owens do the package pile driver or or the swanton, they donât let Sami do the turn buckle brain buster or the through the ropes ddt.
Even AJ got nerfed (though i think this is more because he wants to preserve his body.)
The list goes on.
Apparently from what Iâve been reading there is no ill will between management and Dean. So they likely wonât bury him on his way out. Especially since it would look bad on wwe and just add fuel to the fire if he went to the Indyâs or a rival promotion. Heâs always been professional and does everything he can with what they give him. Heâs just tired of what theyâre giving him.
Also, the feeling is he would actually stay if New Japan and AEW werenât options for him. Especially AEW. They wouldnât be able to talk to him until the summer though due to 90 day no-compete clause in every contract.
Sami still does the through the rope DDT. He busts it out in big matches.

Heâs only done it a few times. They let him do it alll the time in nxt but heâs next to never done it on the main roster.

They also donât let Sami use any of the suplex variations heâs known for (tiger, dragon, half and half, half Nelson) except against Owens. He may have done a few of them against Nakamura at takeover. Tbh I donât remember.

I really want ko and sami to be on separate brands. It is weird to save them for postmania.
