Lukewarmā¦
Honesty people were likely cheering because it would be rude to boo someone who is out there to basically give a eulogy.
Hogan is still a racist piece of shit but everyone loved Mene Gene.
Its Florida. They cheered because hes in his trash home base
Iām sure that had something to do with it too, yeah.
That feeling you get when all your irl wrestling buddies turn into stereotypical, douchey Indy marks and fly the generic āfuck wweā banner because they go to a local promotion now and watch New Japan.
You actively donāt get new japan. Maybe wwe facebook groups are your destination
I āgetā new japan just fine. I just donāt think itās end-all-be-all and wrestling Mecca the US fan base thinks it is. I also donāt think Okada and Omega are Godās gift to wrestling. There are guys in the promotion I do like though. Hiromu, ZSJ, Osprey, Juice, what Ive seen of Naito is really good. Minoru Suzuki is awesome. Oh and Shingo! Though I havenāt seen any of his New Japan work Iām just happy he finally escaped the clutches of Dragon Gate.
US fan base is fickle
Just reallise no one wrestling fan really follows others
I think i am as crazy as luke gallows when it comes to fandom
Iāve turned into that guy. Watching WWE weekly shows is boring and pointless.
I was that guy like 8-9 years ago? Then I just stopped following Indyās and stopped caring as much. Iām a super casual now and itās a lot nicer. I get all my news from dirt sheets and twitter. If I think the event or certain match sounds cool enough Iāll try to find a way to watch it but if I canāt Iām not going to lose any sleep over it.
I donāt watch any of the weekly programming anymore except NXT and when I remember, 205 live. Iāll still watch the monthly ppvs or takeovers though.
Itās a phase we all go through. Generally it passesā¦or you just because an angry troll like meltzer
Xia has gotten her English down wellā¦
Surprised that out of the initial Chinese NXT classā¦she is basically the only one left.
She adapted really well so far.
Her and Kairi Saneās Instagram adventures together give me life.
Also Beth Phoenix And Kairi Sane did a thing for the E&C Show
They got 2 guys left. One guy with a chigga chinese rapper gimmick, and the other is a crazy rich asian. Tian Bing showed promise, but wwe donāt like pushing asians.
You would think that Kona Reeves would try to ape EVERYTHING that Okada does. But beyond the bleach job and pose dude is eh.
WWE could push tjp but nah.
I mean you invest in asians. Then you donāt. The girls though is where the money is. You push the women hard and the otakus will drool.
I mean kairi, io, xia, mia
You got island girl like dakota cool.
WWE should try to get a nakajima or kento miyahara type. A younger athletic taller guy
I still think wwe is missing the boat on not pushing tjp or akira
Yeah wwe should try to run a group in nxt with a bts gimmick
They already grouping the asian girls together with mia replacing dakota in the group

Statement from the AEW bank accountsā¦
Summary
SHAD KHAN STATEMENT ON AEW, Tuesday, January 8, 2019
I am the lead investor, a supporter and a backer of All Elite Wrestling, and I anticipate great things today and into the future for AEW and everyone who has worked passionately on this weekās launch. I know AEW will be welcomed by wrestling fans here in the U.S. and throughout the world who are ready for something new and authentic. AEW will work hard to deliver on that promise.
As important, I am the father ā the proud father ā of Tony Khan, who will serve in a leadership role at AEW during the 2019 launch and in the years ahead. Tony will assemble a great team to take AEW over the top, for the benefit of everyone who loves the wrestling industry, while continuing to serve in his current capacities with the Jaguars and Fulham.
AEW will operate as an organization completely independently from my other interests. It will not deter attention or divert resources from any of my businesses, teams, projects or investments. At the same time, AEW will enjoy the same full commitment I given to everything and everyone in my life ā my family and friends, my business and, in recent years, to sports, hospitality and now entertainment.
TONY KHAN STATEMENT ON AEW, Tuesday, January 8, 2019
Wrestling fans are a community unlike most others. Iāve been a part of this community since I was 7 years old, and I can tell you that wresting fans see the world every day through a special lens. We see wrestling in Hollywood films and tv shows, we see elements of wrestling in the presentation of sports and in the marketing of grandiose star athletes, and we certainly see wrestling in politics.
The wrestling community is a constant; its members are diverse, we are physically located on all corners of the planet, yet we are constantly connected. Recently, a new family has formed, bonded by love and respect for wresting but armed with a vision and resources that have never before been available to the wrestling community. Our objective is to connect our community closer than ever before through All Elite Wrestling, or AEW.
AEW does not mean any less of a continued commitment to existing obligations and duties that I have, or my family has, to our business and sports interests. That will never be the case. Whatās important is that every individual decision we make as family, whether itās ownership or investment in a team or property, is 100 percent beneficial to those specific interests. I will always welcome that accountability and responsibility, as nothing is more important than serving our supporters and friends.
AEW will launch with a roster of the top wrestlers in the world. While theyāll clash in what will be some of the most intense and fast-paced contests ever sanctioned in the squared circle, theyāll also share a common goal: to make this the true golden age, to make this the greatest time ever to be a wrestling fan. Likewise, as a business, by treating our wrestlers with respect and warmth, we also seek to make this the golden age for the performers themselves.
I urge everyone who believes in what weāre doing, or wants to believe in dreams coming true, to support AEW by spreading the word and passing the wrestling bug onto someone else. My message: Get in on the ground floor with AEW today and help lead our movement to grow the wrestling community and ensure that the voices of the wrestling fans, their creative minds and their remarkable ideas, will always be heard.

Hoping something good comes out of this.

That would be a good way to fund. Especially with how thirsty dudes are.
