They should have been announced and unveiled at Evolution. You know, the all women ppv. I bet the crowd would have been much more receptive to the announcement if it had been at a venue full of people who actually gave a shit about this kinda thing.

Tbh there are a few all women’s promotions. Why not all men’s promotions as well?
I should probably actually watch NXT UK before their takeover so I actually know wtf is going on. I’ve been so busy I haven’t been able to watch any wrestling. Just clips and summaries off wwe’s official YouTube and reddit
Some say that NXTUK hasn’t gained traction in the UK…I’m hoping the UK Takeover changes that.
That’s true for any Japanese media that have women as the star attraction. They are unavoidable.
The reason for this is because a lot of the UK guys are still allowed to perform outside of WWE. People would rather spend £15-20 to see their favorite wrestlers than “premium”/wwe prices. It’s why WWE is starting to crack down on appearances and making a lot of the NXT UK top guys sign exclusivity contracts. They’re hoping to funnel the audience back.
