Found this on Reddit this morning. Pretty fucking cool. It’s amazing how many of these rules are still still in place when the wrestling world has changed so much over the last 44 years.
Actually a lot of those rules ain’t enforced anymore.

This one isn’t heavily enforced. Big Show finisher wouldn’t work if it was. Every brawler type wrestler these days use close fists.
1B. Throwing the opponent over the rope made sense when there were no mats around the ring. That’s no longer an issue.
2B. Kane and Goldust use throat thrusts in their offense so that’s not enforced

Many promotions have been playing fast and loose with this one. New Japan won’t DQ if it’s an important match. WWE likes to be selective about when it’s enforced.

These days the ref will eject someone from ringside for doing that than calling it.

This definitely doesn’t happen anymore. The last time I remember someone winning a match by reverse decision was ten years ago.
