I don’t think aew is at fault. I think all the weeks Goin into ss was just dumb strong for nxt. Like you had 2 other brands Goin on there and you didn’t know who was Goin to show up or what matches might go down. I don’t think nxt will hold that strong a lead all month. But obviously Vince wanted to make nxt look strong at ss for this exact thing. New eyes, new unknown match ups. Vince is a evil dick but he knows buisness

There’s that which is important, but NXT is consistently putting out banger ass matches and storylines. Taking it as “well they did the women’s wargame and then things will peter out” would be a bad look for AEW.
So the question is: Why doesn’t AEW have programming that can compete with that?

Simple answer. They are new and learning as they go. They have some vet support but not a huge amount or experience. Luckily they have the money to flub a bit. I don’t expect it to drop a crazy amount especially as nxt cools a bit from ss high. Nxt was putting bangers on even before ss but aew was beating them. The raw smackdown assist was pretty clear to me why they’ve won in the past 2 weeks

I still don’t know who TF that was that came through the ring and beat up Cody. Neither did JR. That’s a huge fuckup if half your announce team(schivone wasn’t there) doesnt know who they are while Excalibur is marking out and stumbling as an announcer.

Women’s division need surgery but that seems to be a struggle in prowrestling in general. The talent is there but women aren’t the ones bringing in new viewers. But they are important. Nxts women’s division is God tier. Impact has a great division though no one will admit it. And wwe is OK. Aew needs to get to at least OK level

Lol aew having more stables is OK as long as they keep adding the talent. Atm we have at least 4 stables 3 face 1 heel. I guess 5 if you count luchasaurus and people.
