I’ll never understand how Vince works, you’d think he wouldn’t mind wrestlers using other avenues to get over, it only helps brings more eyes to your product. Hell, it’s LESS work on him and the writers tbh

He works as he’s always worked. He wants 100% control no matter the cost. A wrestler is still a wrestler even when not working to him. He wants to control the story and narrative. That’s why he never wanted to get into mma when Shane did. Because he can’t control the story like wwe.
