I’m kinda disappointed that Mauro is gone from WWE so soon, but he was never going to move past the Smackdown desk because of political reasons. Curious if JBL is actually going to be fired for doing what he thought he was supposed to be doing (I’m not saying what he did is okay, but it’s ingrained as part of the culture at this point), and if so, would WWE settle for a Tom Phillips/David Otunga team? (assuming Tom himself stays out of further trouble)
So, JBL thought it was John O’Clock, again, and ran Mauro out of WWE, forcing Coke to stay on and put more pressure on Phillips. It’s times like this that make me miss Todd Grisham on pbp. Too bad he’s with the UFC and Ranallo will probably follow suit…
Honestly wouldn’t be suprised to hear he still travels with the company a lot, the dude is an absolute madman in the best/worst ways and that includes how much he works.
Even when he doesn’t travel with the company you bet your ass he’s going to attend every meeting via call and be the one to give every decision the all clear to go.
