I’m going to assume that The Undertaker is such a guaranteed shoe in that it goes without saying? Either way, I think Kane and Big show are decent possibilities too.
Goldust is a surefire hof. He took what could have been wrestlecrap and became one of the most groundbreaking iconic characters. His post wwe run in tna was sad. But thanks to that run with cody he earned back his spot in that agent/wrestler mode. The man can still go. He is one of my favorite workers since the natural days. Goldust was underappreciated. But the crowd respects him still. Seek out any podcast with him.
Big Show is a definite
Mark henry is definite
I think Kane and Undertaker are definite. They have had the longest wwf runs along with hhh. But kane and undertaker are iconic of the era.
Both made their legends entirely in the wwf
Cena, Batista, Mysterio, orton, & lesnar defined the 00’s and edge already got in
Christian will definitely get an induction.
Bryan will go in. So will miz. And punk.
I kind of hope the ruthless aggression era guys are more selective
I think if Lashley comes back and gets a huge run he could get a call.
The hardyz will go in together, but jeff deserves one last main event run. Seriously would love to see jeff mauled by lesnar. Or seeing jeff go with aj, owens. Zayn, nakamura over on sd
You have a lot of people…but you’ve always been too nice and not too critical from what I remember as long as I’ve been here.
Agree with Goldust and Henry…just for longetivity sake. Same with Kane and Bigshow.
I can’t say the same about everyone else on your list…they would probably get it through time eventually.
Orton and Cena are a newer generation than Show, Goldust, and Henry, and the two of them are obvious in the HOF.
The Miz imo has done enough already too. His body of work is closest to what Edge did, and he got in pretty early, though it was because of his retirement, but his work was enough. AJ Styles, that speaks for itself too… Jericho has done enough.
Individually, I don’t see the Shield there yet…but as a group…that’s a given.
Apollo Crews gets a catchphrase last week, and then this week Vince must’ve found out and said “SHUT THAT DOWN DAMNIT” as he now loses his last name and thus said catchphrase.
Hahaha I do give a positive spin on things. There’s enough criticism out there on all things wrestling.
I agree with you. The latter half of my list are those that could make it if they continue to add to their accomplishments. Also, WWE’s standards aren’t too high compared to fans’, so a solid amount of achievements could be enough in WWE’s eyes.
Okay. I’m just going to straight-up admit my bias. There’s not a single “big man” type of wrestler I can stand to watch for more than a minute or two, other than Kane and Taker (if they count). I can’t stand watching big sweaty men lumber around the ring and lift heavy things and/or each other. This is a me thing, I think. I’m starting to wonder if I just have bad taste for genuinely thinking Mundo is better than Lesnar.
