The Wrestling Thread 2017: Thanks for the great year! New Thread Open!

Yeah. Booker T wasn’t fired. He was just sent back to preshow duties.

Oh, he just misphrased what happened. That’s that, and here’s this.

List of Injured WWE Superstars (2018):

Dean Ambrose - Triceps Injury
Noam Dar - Knee Injury
Paige - FORCED TO RETIRE FROM IN-RING WORK
Big Show - Hip Injury
Big Cass - Torn Ligaments
Jeff Hardy - Torn Rotator Cuff
R-Truth - Shoulder Injury
The Brian Kendrick - Facial Fractures
Drew McIntyre - Bicep Injury
Tommaso Ciampa - [MADE RETURN. Not sure if he's been cleared for in-ring work. Stay tuned]
Samoa Joe - Right Foot injury
Samir Singh - Torn ACL.
Alicia Fox - Coccygeal Fracture (Broken Tailbone).
Epico - Shoulder Injury

Still wasn’t as bad as 2016 imo

*I always liked Booker T’s commentary. His fav 5, shucky ducky quack quack, putting over heels and faces alike. He was a color guy, with extra emphasis on the idiosyncratic color. *

Chyna wrestled men. Remember Nicole Bass? Didn’t Stacy Kiebler get Samoan dropped by Umaga and so forth?

Yes he is black

Don’t forget all the women that were powerbombed through tables by Bubba Ray.

Mae Young was crazy as fuck.

Has there been an official announcement yet about Paige?

Not heavily familiar, but I like this Elias cat. I remember The Rock used to sing and insult people like this. Lol

Random but I was going through the network earlier and came across the episode where Mohammed Hassan was boycotting Smackdown and had his attorney come out. Upon closer inspection I thought he looked familiar and just as I thought it was because that was Ciampa.

The clip in question

Strowman beat Cena clean? Wasnt fully paying attention. Braun is so fucking over

They should downplay his crowd interaction tho, itll ruin his character

They might’ve ran a little shorter than they wanted.

I honestly don’t think it ruins his character all that much. He’s a monster but he’s shown clear morality outside of Roman Reigns (and Roman escalated it far further than Braun did ultimately) and generally gets along with anyone not against him. Even back in his early heel run he showed glimpses of this.

He is a modern day hulk hogan

Like seriously if wwe gets serious with braun they could have a true franchise guy

The braun is granting as many wishes as roman

WWE should seriously pull the trigger on Braun. He can be the guy they want.

No. Braun did the running powerslam on Cena, but as he was going to it to Elias, Elias got off of Braun’s shoulders and pushed Braun out of the ring. Elias pinned Cena for the win.
Braun retaliated by doing three running powerslams each on Cena and Elias.

Speaking of pulling the trigger, the US Title Match with Roode vs Rusev really should end with a double turn, Rusev’s over as fuck with the crowd who have been cheering him no matter who they’ve been putting him up against, Roode would get a nice boost in heat from the program (it helps he’s much better as a heel than as a face) and whoever loses the feud could comfortably segue into the main event scene.

Huh, and here I’ve been thinking they’re actually setting things up to pull the trigger on him since TLC.

Im all for Braun as the face of the company, he is generally well liked by his peers and the fans, can cut a good promo, is good in the ring all the while having that musclebound look Vince likes to buss nuts over

Braun is a win for everybody. Reigns can be the Macho Man to his Hogan since WWE insists on forcing him down our throats
