Hmm…

Not surprised, Dusty told Cody to leave 2 years before he did because he knew Vince had no plans for Cody.

“I’m not putting over some purple-haired midget!”

I can see why Nia Jax would be upset with her booking. She’s suppose to be this unstoppable monster but she keeps losing to Bayley and Sasha killing her aura. She’s suppose to be the Braun of the women’s division.

Damn Jax… Part of the job is jobbing.

Sure, but Dusty also knew that with Cody’s legacy, his talent and with how the Indies were going, that he’d end up being big on the Circuit. While I’m still not a big Cody fan, it’s easy to see why he ultimately worked out.

Nia has the legacy, but not the talent and not even the amount of options to go to.

Again, I think this starts setting a bad precedence if more and more people start leaving solely due to booking and not other factors.

Nia has options, she can go back to modeling. She actually put on weight to wrestle per WWE request.

Sure she can go back to modeling, but again, it leaves her no leverage in this case. WWE isn’t going to change her booking because she threatens to leave wrestling.

And I’ll be frank, there are only a select few people in the entire company who should be leaving for booking reasons. Nia isn’t one of them. Sure, I’d balk at her losing clean again but at the same time…she really hasn’t improved all that much, both in ringwork and psychology. She still doesn’t carry the aura and posture of what a “destroyer” should be.

I still think she’s a nice enough girl though, and that if she wants to leave and go back into modeling she should really do what makes her happy.

Nia Jax makes Braun Strowman look like Bret Hart in the ring.

I’d go back to modeling and do Indy shows on my off-time if I was her. Best of both worlds

Not really crazy over post-WWE Cody Rhodes, he’s not really shown anything more than we already knew from him in the E (kinda like RVD?)

The Rock thinking Nia Jax is like the female Roman Reigns LMAO sit down Dwayne

Apart from “Broken” Cody from when he was wearing the face mask he hasn’t really stood out for me at any point in his career. He was an able hand in the ring but hardly someone worthy of being WHC.

I was there live, and it was alright. Wasn’t MOTY in any capacity.

Subjective, but you can have a “5 star match” with no build up. I know I enjoyed the match but I guarantee the marks at the show were much happier with it than I was.

Agree that it wasn’t MOTY in any capacity.

I can’t remember anything from this year in WWE except for Styles vs Cena and Dunne vs Bate and …which had 1 or 2 too many false finishes.

5 star matches imo have to have false finishers and kick outs on finishers…if not then it has to have a huge build.

Punk vs Cena MITB come to mind.

I liked the fact that Finn vs AJ ended in one finisher…and AJ didn’t hit a full phenomenal forearm or Styles Clash. It was just a sweet preview of what could or is to come.

If it was a 5 star match on the first meet up with multiple kickouts, what would happen is that we would complain how the second and third matches didn’t live up to the first match, or we would complain that the second or third matches have too many kickouts in an attempt to succeed the first match.

It was a fun match, they only gave us a taste no homo. TBH the only reason I downloaded the PPV.
