The Wrestling Thread 2017: Thanks for the great year! New Thread Open!

Oh that I know, but he just finds new ways to disappoint me.

lmfao. thats on you guys
clearly the internet loves him. dudes working every big fed he can and no ones really hating on him that matters.

Clearly the internet loves him except for most of the internet sharing the sentiment. Obviously no one that matters hates him otherwise he wouldn’t be employed. I’m not pretending I’m actually gonna affect his place of work.

is he dead?

Honestly suzuki is more theatrical than lot’s give him credit for

The matches with danshoko dino are proof positive

Honeslty, probably would have been worse if the he wasn’t caught by the guy who “slammed” him

Final Card for WWE No Mercy

Going to a house show tonight. Hoping they don’t sandbag too much with the PPV tomorrow

Honestly from my experience the house show will be way better than the PPV. Trust me. The talent gets to be more creative and entertaining without the constraints of television.

oh come on!!!

No biggie, Matt can go Broken til Jeff gets back. It’d be a good way to write Jeff off tv

I guess it means that Cody stays ROH champ for a while longer

No Mercy is the chance for WWE to cement Strowman as the face and force of wwe. If Braun beats Brock clean? Braun is made for life. Braun is everything wwe loves. A giant, larger than life, entity. WWE can make so much money off the back of Braun.

Of course this now means Brock wins, and roman steam rolls over braun and braun ends up jobbing to r-truth in 2 weeks

Unlike say Finn, Roman, and Rollins. Braun was not forced on the fans. The fans all gravitated towards braun. Wwe in a roundabout way has created the guy Roman was meant to be and is still pigeonholed as. Unlike Finn, braun is larger than life and can cut a short promo without tripping over his words.

Finn was not forced. His push was an extension of his NXT run until he was injured. I have no idea what has happened to Finn since then. His promos were decent until recently.

The guy looks like he’s a caveman. That’s a good look for him, but does he have the tools and the all important “It Factor?”

Is
Is this the first time Jeff has actually gotten injured in the ring?
The streak is over.

What happened to Finn was
well yeah, he got injured after a big push. They’re simply not gonna have as much faith for a bit, plus he happened to come back when Raw had a pretty firm direction on where they were going.

Second time actually. First was in TNA off of the nastiest unintentional cage match bump ever.

House show was great. Didn’t know it was Matt Hardy’s birthday, but the crowd started chanting “Happy Birthday” to him just before his match. Hope they put on a good PPV tomorrow

Was that the one onto the stairs? Because I’m pretty sure that one was a planned spot used to explain why he couldn’t do the U.K. tour.

Yeah, that’s what I was thinking too.

what? i hope this is a joke
this dude has hurt himself so many times
shit he knocked himself out cold like a few months/year ago in tnagfwwtf
