No it didn’t. If anything it made everything that happened at Battleground worse. Everything they did tonight showed that they can put on a good show when motivated, so what was the excuse for the shitshow on Sunday?

Honestly no, I’m tired of using Vince as the excuse at this point. Every time it’s using him as the excuse when things go to shit, but when things go well it’s because he isn’t around.
Battleground was such an all around shit show I cannot fully give him the blame. It’s on the entirety of SDL (minus the Usos and the New Day). Vince may have his final say on quite a few things including who wins and how a match finishes and who is pushed, but that entire show was just absolute shit and I willingly blame everyone.
To be fair AJ was supposed to to retain the US title at Battleground…but the pin was botched.
Either AJ didn’t raise his shoulders in time…or the ref missed it.
Word is that Vince was livid after that match last night.

Back in March youtube changed their ad policy. In order to protect their advertisers from sponsoring potentially offensive videos they changed the parameters of which videos were ad friendly. Wrestling fall into being not ad friendly and killed monetization on wrestling related videos.

It’s hard to agree with you when Jinder’s run is a proof of Vince forcing his idea and dragging shit down. There is a reason that Styles, Owens and all are fighting for the mid card title. Since Jinder is Vince’s pet project, it’s obvious his involvement in SD has increased.
When SDL was on fire, the main championship feud were great. Even Bray vs Randy was great until that stinker of a mania match. Jinder had Randy for three straight ppvs. That’s just beating a dead horse.
Jinder is a boring ass wrestler, his matches wouldn’t even be fun by 70’s standards let alone todays higher expectations.
Dont even think of blaming it on Orton either, Randy is busting his ass to get this guy over. There is only so much you can do when 70% of Jinder’s idea of wrestling is rest hold…punches…rest hold every fucking match. Sami Zayn couldn’t carry this guy to a great match smh.
