Bryan’s favorite wrestler is yuji nagata who is retiring soon. You can see so much of it in the style. That would be an excellent match.
That “animalistic” style he showed off on total divas was interesting. Very similar to Lance Storm’s never take a big bump style.
Storm talked about on his podcast that he would work matches with at most 2-3 big bumps because he figured the filler parts aren’t intrinsic to the story. So he worked holds, transitions, and counters.
But thanks to wwe’s schedule he got hurt.
If you see jericho matches his only bumps are the finish and the codebreaker.

Yep, surprised they got put in the same block but I guess they want to protect Okada/Naito and Ibushi/Kenny, Plus they probably don’t want to do Okada/Tana again.
Edit: Plus the 30 minute time limit acts as a huge storytelling element since both their last matches and all of Okada’s title matches have gone super long.
