Team him up with Reigns and Ambrose. Shield 2.0. Cena can still be a face but the WWE will start moving him in a direction where he’s slightly less hateable.
Also, they’ll have Cena working towards a rematch. Book that.
This went from being a bit funny, to just being sad. This new/old look isn’t the sort of thing that’s going to put him WWE’s good graces again. At this point, I bet they feel like they dodged a bullet.
I thought RAW was decent. The main event was solid. I’m assuming that Lesnar is going to be working every PPV from now on, so I’m curious who WWE has lined up for the next PPV.
Wouldn’t mind seeing a Bray Wyatt VS Brock Lesnar or hell, even a Kane VS Brock Lesner. Have Kane come out as Kane from 2004 when he was in that ambulance match with Shane. What about another MMA star or former MMA star like Dan “The Beast” Severn
Severn is 56 years old, looks like shit, is slow as hell, and has been retired from both MMA and pro wrestling for the last two years. Good for him; he deserves it.
The only current, legitimate MMA star (so that disqualifies Lashley) I can think of with professional wrestling experience is Josh Barnett. However, he is still an active mixed martial artist, and I doubt the WWE has any interest in him.
I’m wondering how WWE is going to use Lesnar moving forward? Is he defending every PPV? If so, is every match going to be a squash? And if every match isn’t a squash, how will they go about putting him in competitive matches, without making Cena look even weaker for getting beat down?
I’m assuming that Cena will be missing at least the next PPV while filming, but who knows. If so, who does WWE even have right now that they can give to Lesnar?
I wouldn’t be surprised to see Lesnar turn on The Authority, just to set up Orton/Lesnar, and maybe HHH/Lesnar, and to bring the MiTB case into play. It could be something like HHH trying to bump up network subscriptions by setting up a match for Lesnar at the next PPV, but Heyman shooting down the idea and saying that Lesnar will defend when he wants to. Obviously this causes friction with HHH because it’s not “best for business.”
Some of you boys are pumped for the Henry/Rusev match. I have a feeling Henry is gonna be doing the job, although he’s also in the middle of his Big Show team push, so it’s weird for him to do double duty. I’m not sure where they are going with this Rusev thing, Swagger was his most logical opponent. Someone mentioned a Kurt Angle return, but that would be too amazing for real life.
It’s time to turn Ryback face again. Rybaxel isn’t working and it seems Axel is dead weight at this point. Ryback is an average wrestler, but a guy who is actually good at working the crowd. I don’t know if there is anywhere for Axel to go.
Dean Ambrose/Seth Rollins is money.
For those of you who are worried about Cena’s cred, don’t be, when the dude returns the roof will come off the arena. Getting squashed once isn’t the end of the world.
Paul Heyman is the promo god.
I’m not a fan of the big ol’ fake titties, and man, Nikki has some plastic on her.
I literally didn’t know that was a new belt. I just thought it was HHH trolling.
The eagle-eyed among you may have noticed someone new in the opening.
