I’m not a big AJ fan, but it’s hilarious to see daboog argue against the obvious. AJ has a clear character/persona, unlike virtually every other Diva, and is the division’s best talker. (Not saying much, I know, but we’re considering her relative to the other Divas) She is decent in the ring. Her “wrestling like a jobber” makes sense considering her physical attributes; AJ is a tiny, petite girl. That criticism makes about as much sense as complaining that Flair usually wrestled as a chickenshit heel and got the shit kicked out of him before retaining the title by a fluke.
Like, AJ might not be great, but when you’re praising the Bellas or even Paige (who honestly doesn’t have much going for her aside from a great, unique look. I don’t see the supposed wrestling prowess), your posts look ridiculous.
Anyways, toddler316 is right; ever since they were no longer allowed to be as sexual, the Divas have been an afterthought.
AJ is better on the stick than a couple of guys on the roster. I would stop what I’m doing and listen to an AJ promo. Something I’ll never do when Cena, Sheamus, Roman Reigns and Orton grab a mic.

Also we got charlotte in nxt. Once charlotte gets on the roster aj will be marginalized due to not being able to keep up.
I just give credit where credit is due…I acknowledge AJ isn’t perfect but I just don’t see what the other women are doing that’s any better. Most of them can’t carry a mic or tell a story in the ring, so naturally I’m not going to be impressed by workers I have no investment in.

Two women’s matches for Summerslam. It seems like they are trying to make them matter.
Considering how much WWE wants/needs the WWE Network to sell, they must make their PPVs “must see” shows. Having diva matches (or any other matches) be throwaway, piss break matches won’t set a good example at all.

The fucking New Nation stable being disbanded after all the interest and anticipation that the angle has generated is one of the most disappointing things I’ve seen all year.
They wouldn’t even give the thing a chance and now all three are going back to being smiling shuckin and jiving babyface jobbers instead of being a cohesive unit. They could have at least gave it a run on fucking Main Event; a show that is exclusive to the Network and needs to develop its own identity.
Keep them off main WWE programing, keep them on Main Event build some buzz maybe win a tag team title or IC gold from the fucking Miz and see where it goes from there. Wale’s post about this sums up my disappointment too.
Hopefully this isn’t a response to what happened with Michael Brown or Del Rio being fired over racial shit. Please don’t let this be a result of political correctness. This was a great idea and Xavier Woods was already doing a fantastic job being the Farrakhan spokesman of the group. Just fucking bullshit.

*That was the whole point of my post. In the ring, there isn’t county miles separating them from AJ’s level. Or at the very least the AJ that we’ve seen during her last 2 Divas championship runs.
On the mic there isn’t a diva who can touch AJ. AJ’s character portrayal and mic work is MILES beyond what any of the other divas can do. AJ is “the best diva” by default since there is no one close to matching her strengths and her ring work holds up
Paige has a ways to go in my opinion. On the mic and in the ring. Maybe it’s because I didn’t follow NXT as closely as others but her ring work doesn’t do anything for me. She has a couple cool moves but from what I seen they don’t really create a cohesive signature.
**Naomi for as entertaining as she is in the ring has zero mic skills and struggle to portray any kind of character. Even when Cameron turned on her and was acting bitchy, Naomi came off like a D-Tier actor.

The Bellas are pretty bad when it comes to acting or talking on the mic.
Natty Naturals is… Frustrating. She showed glimmers of stepping it up (Pinup Strong, fued with Lay-Cool) but it never went anywhere. Everyone knows she can go in the ring when she’s allowed to go in the ring. Trying to apply the sharpshooter a million times during a match is dull.
**Layla is alright. She can talk a little, do promos, portray a character and she is okay in the ring. But overall she’s kinda “meh” in my eyes. No real weaknesses, but no real strong points either.

Summer Rae is okay in the ring. Her mic work and character portrayal is “meh” so far. It’ll be interesting to see how she develops, if she develops beyond what she is.

The only reason divas getting any shine is stephanie’s involvement.
The rise of divas though meant death of tag teams, us title, and ic belt.
They need to scrap the US Title because it is worthless and give us a gimmick title.
I was thinking the RAW or Television Champion would be a cool idea.
AJ at least shined though which is more then I can say for the majority of the active divas. Will the Bella’s go anywhere after this feud with steph is over?
All the experiments to push other women have failed…remember when Alicia tried the psycho gimmick and got a boring chant. I’m not saying AJ is flawless but she has made the most of her push unlike the other women who have either failed or just kinda floated nowhere.
