WWE used to not do that as much but the older Vince gets and the more he relies on Hollywood writers, the more it has been happening.
TNA is at least become interesting again lately, it is like they are putting forth effort to not suck. This will never happen but honestly I do hope Punk does leave WWE and signs with TNA just to spite HHH. That would garner a guaranteed ratings spike, Punk has that kind of pull which is why Vince wants him to stay.

Yeah, Vince used to do EVERYTHING, with minimal help from guys like Russo, Dunn, etc… but as time has worn on, age and unique competition from MMA and the internet spoiling things has made things more difficult to script.
Vince still has final say on things, but he relies more on scrubby Hollywood writers*(who clearly don’t understand the business or how to tell a cohesive story, hence why they don’t have regular Hollywood gigs)* and Triple H doesn’t have any pull on RAW/SD outside of the Tag Division, so multiple re-writes and last second changes have become par for the course.
Dipping ratings, an angered fanbase who has become apt to hijacking shows to voice their displeasure with the current storylines, and a probably really confused and frustrated locker roomwho just lost one of their own due to said frustration have become a powder-keg waiting to go off…
I don’t envy Mr. McMahon’s position at the moment.

Turner needs to man up and get wrestling going again. Throw Cornette hella money, invest in stealing talent from the E, buy hella people from the indies and call it a day.
As far as the E goes, it really fucks me up how hard they make storylines on themselves. Just pretend that wrestlers are a bunch of high school bitches and have them beef constantly. For a while they have a BFF, they get mad at them, fight it out, get another BFF and team up with the new one to take on the old one. You could have some of them fight over some other bitch.
It makes me sad that GD has had better feuds and promos than the most of last year in the WWE.

Maybe. I don’t know. Its w/e. Some of my shit talking isn’t even up to snuff. At this point I’m just mashing with a lot of my similes and metaphors.
I kind of wish they had hired people to work with the talent on their gimmick. Like, don’t just hand them something and call it a day. Have somebody there to help them with the things they did well and bad. Some promos would go from meh to good if they way they accentuated certain things changed. Other gimmicks would work better if they just took where the gimmick wanted to go.
Take Alberto Del Rio. You got a rich mexican immigrant driving into his matches with fancy cars. On top of that he has his own announcer that does everything in spanish. This is a great fucking start. You know what he needed? An actual gimmick to center his promos around.
The thing is that you have this and say: Alright, we have a mexican Ted DiBiase, what do we have them do? Fuck it, have him do what mexicans are doing: bring the price of work down. So we take Ted DiBiase’s promos of hiring people for outrages amounts of money and instead have him walk on stage with 50 dollars. He walks around the ringside until he finds somebody who will do push ups for that amount. As soon as he finds the person he says “A la chingada, who wants to do it for 40.” You just have him doing this week in and week out while calling Americans lazy, entitled people and blah blah blah. Shit, put up a couple of plants just to get the ball rolling on the first couple of promos. After 2 weeks, people will volunteer to get low balled. Hell, you can even tape promos where he goes to a Target and picks up a bunch of unemployed white people to work on his garden.
What did we get instead? My destinyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy. Makes me so mad.
Like Mark Henry. The Hall of Pain had so many little ways to open up promos. Shit, he could’ve finished matches with picking up the Mic, saying “You just got inducted,” dropping them on the person and walking away. The audience would’ve been like “Holy shit that’s some cold shit, HYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYPE.”

I did one at magfest cause me and my boy are the tag team champs of flip cup with our convention friends, we decided this would be for the #1 contendership of beruit. We won this money match with some dudes from nyc. lol. We were drunk as shit, my boy on the last ball up…walked out the door…and down the hall as the ball went in. We got so hyped…my drunk ass cut this 3-5 min promo about us being the best tag team champions.

KENTA to WWE rumors are weird to me. Especially now that they’re getting louder. I’m guessing WWE is going to have Cruiserweight show (or belt).
For the life of me I can’t get into TNA. I watch every week though, so I don’t know. MVP plus the Wolves could be interesting. Bully is interesting, but Kenderson isn’t. I think the sexual innuendo of Bully saying he wanted to piledrive Kenderson’s wife went over the most of the crowd’s heads. Bobby Roo looks like he may become a morally ambiguous loner.

If he buys TNA, he’d be buying it for the manpower that’s already there. Not sure if the writers are decent or not (since they don’t get the freedom to do shit) but he could just steal the worthwhile people from the roster and probably get a better rate for them.
Between the dirt sheets and the media’s new interest in wrestling drama, the act of a hidden company hiring a bunch of wrestlers and people with experience in the industry would build an immense amount of hype for him. All things considered, he would be better off buying RoH then giving PWG and some of the other indies developmental contracts so they can move up people.
The weird thing is, the WWE audience WANTS to like the product. They really do. You don’t get so frustrated with a company because you want to hate it.
WWE is the only gig in town if you want big brand American style wrestling, and right now, WWE just isn’t giving fans what they want.
You know what though? The E is still turning massive profits. So, probably, nothing is going to change.
