“The big crapple”? :wtf:

Dear James Storm: We have located the men who stole your beer. It is Ethan Carter and Rhyno. To spout that line, they HAVE to be at least a case or two in.

Wow, being in NYC makes TNA look a whole lot better. They don’t look quite as bush-league

They should consider that a permanent residence in the future

EC3 is a funny dude.

This has been THE INVINCIBLE SWORDSMAN saying:

The 6-sided ring always confused me more than anything else.

They’d go bankrupt. Even when ROH sells out at Hammerstein they still lose money. That’s even with merch sales.

Plus Hammerstein just raised the rent an undisclosed amount but the raise made it that ROH could pretty much never have them as a venue again.

With that said, I can’t imagine how much TNA is dumping into it. Or how consistent they can keep going to Hammerstein. If they do decide to run Hammerstein it should only be at their biggest ppv (whatever that is. I don’t know or care.)

Wow, Jeff Hardy Swanton on the steps was pretty crazy. That was a good match.

All of tonight’s matches have been pretty good.

And, when the crowd gives a damn, it makes it all click.

Devin looks 13

OH MY GOD IN HEAVEN!! That was the funniest shit I’ve seen in fucking days. I can’t stop laughing. Whoever made this is a hero and I’d actually pay money to read his comics. Who is this guy?

Guess who’s back in TNA? Hint: He’s still getting them tables.

Start with anything from Kobashi and Misawa

Here’s one to get you started.

I was going to put those matches plus the Misawa vs Kawada series and for something modern the Tanahashi-Okada matches were great as well.

Not a bad Impact actually. NYC crowd def made it better

Just as a puro/wrestling nerd there is a world of difference between new japan’s strong style and all japan’s king’s road

Strong style more about martial arts and submissions

King’s Road suplexes and stiff strikes

Then you have the high flying/power junior style

It was about 2000 when styles meshed and we got more mixing of match psychology

Nowadays though new japan has a lot more of that wwe hype the big finish style

You can see difference especially

Takada vs Mutoh

Kawada vs Misawa

But once you see Hase come to ajpw the more wrestling based mat style comes to prominence. When before him it was just brutal spots.

But hey talking and nerding out with josh barnett on puro is awesome

Heck watch eighties new japan with wwf cross promotion

Hulk was trained japanese style which he shows off some grappling

I’ve watched that Sting WWE2k15 commercial several times now. They need to debut him on RAW already for real, and have a longer version of that theme song. I hope they spring for a full orchestra too and really go all out on the entrance.

^So epic.

All they have to do to get me to buy WM is have UT and Sting with 10 minute entrances each, and then some sort of stare down. I don’t really care what happens in the “match” itself. I’m not looking for a 5 star classic here.

And run those WWE UT return vids from several years back but this time actually make it Sting and UT in them. They could run a new one every month, and neither guy even would have to show up on WWE until like right before WM, where they can do the entrances and then point at WM banner thing. I’d just be so hyped.

UT and Sting are the best gimmicks in wrestling history. Obviously we know there are men that play these characters, but when you watch them you can easily suspend that disbelief and it feels like they’re larger than life, not exactly human but some sort of entity that just happens to show up in wrestling. They’ve been in different orgs their entire careers, never crossed, but the fans naturally associate the two of them together. Somehow in the fan conscious those two share a similar mythos. I say write it up and give it to us, and send both off the way they deserve.
