Listening to Austin’s podcast with bischoff has been amazing. I see him in a totally different light now.

Bischoff is a good bullshitter. It’s how he got his position in WCW, and it’s how he convinced you to “see him in a totally different light now”.

The fact that Stone Cold is a relentlessly positive guy on his podcast and casts everyone in a good light doesn’t hurt matters.

I made up my mind about Bischoff not from any dirtsheets, but from reading his own autobiography, Controversy Creates Cash. His own words, not anyone else’s. It’s the shittiest, lazies, dishonest, worst wrestling book ever written.

I’m one of the few in this thread who loves Bischoff and think that book is great. Regardless of what you think, Bischoff was the one that pulled WCW into the black in the first place. Whether he stole ideas of ECW or New Japan, he still beat Vince McMahon until the AOL Time Warner Merger. Without Bischoff and WCW, we would never have the attitude era, and McMahon would still be pushing his cartoon characters. Just my opinion.

The wwe network is making a lot of people step up their game.

Ring of Honor, IWA-Midsouth, CZW, Pro Wrestling Guerilla, Chikara and WWN Live (who own Dragon Gate USA, Shine, FIP and a few others) all plan on having “wwe network like websites or apps” launched by Wrestlemania weekend since that will likely garner the most exposure to get subscriptions.

He was before my time. By the time I started watching WWF, Simmons was the even more silent half of the APA. Never got to see his Nation of Domination days. And the few promos I saw with him in WCW he played a generic, white meat (heh) babyface during his feud with Vader.

Are there other promos of his you would recommend?
