Jim Cornette is a bitter old fuck who refused to adapt with the times. He still on some carny shit and wants the industry to operate in the same fashion it did in the 80s when it’s no longer viable.
That’s the thing, none of those statements are even remotely true.
He’s not a deluded old fuck, try actually dropping the smark and listening to him.
He’s not the one fucking the business. It’s non wrestling minded people that are.
Cornette is ridiculously bitter. That’s an indisputable fact.
I’ve listened to plenty of his interviews and rants and one thing is a constant: It’s always someone else’s fault.
ROH, TNA, WWE.
Amusing, sure, but he can’t take responsibility for anything and he always blames whoever he’s working with when he fails at whatever new promotion he’s joined.
Not to say that he’s wrong all the time, but he’s certainly not always right either.
Haven’t watched any of the WWE Internet shows in over a year; are they all this fucking lame?
Also, I agree with Cornette/toddler316. Forms of entertainment have their periods of popularity, and then they fade into obscurity.
Once upon a time in the 70s, roller derby was very popular. Used to show it on television all the time. Now? No one gives a fuck. In the 1940s, boxing was the single most popular sport in the US. Bigger than football and even baseball.
Now? A small-time sport that only attracts American athletes who washed out of football or basketball.
Has pro wrestling seen its day in the Sun, and is it now in steep decline? It’s very likely. And if you want to dismiss Cornette as a bitter old has-been, then what about CM Punk, who has said the exact same thing numerous times in interviews?
Be that as it may, there’s no fucking way I’m going to go on bitching over New Jack’s opinions and comments. The dude would like gut you, and choke you to death with your own intestines if you get enough on his bad side.
