Whenever anyone acts like that it’s best to simply ignore it. If they go too far, report them to Microsoft/SONY or if they do it here report it to a mod or someone in control and hopefully something will be done about it.

Weakest character
The weakest character in HD remix is definately cammy.
However, a truly skilled cammy expert can still give any other character trouble.
On another note, CAPCOM/Microsoft or whomever contributed really ought to be ashamed of themselves for doing a half-@ssed job with Marvel vs Capcom 2.
It’s ridiculous that the game doesn’t come close graphically to HD remix. Quite frankly, it looks horrible!
They could have made a lot of money with a properly produced Marvel vs Capcom 2. We can only hope they’ve learned something…

MvC2 wasn’t being touted as a HD Remixed game, just a typical re-release with the usual graphic filters, which aren’t bad IMO. I doubt anyone cares really, the fact that game got a re-release and has online play is reason enough to justify the insane popularity it has on XBL, and the fact that it broke the top 10 played games list(something a live arcade title never does) goes to show you.
It’s like the Ric Flair of fighting games. MvC2 pulls interest by simply being MvC2. ST is cool in all, but without its gfx/audio/gameplay overhaul, I doubt it would’ve gotten the popularity it did last winter, which still did not come close to what MvC2 has pulled off.
And lol at all these clowns arguing over trivial stuff like e-rep and matches that probably never happened.
Redrawing 16 characters was pretty ambitious. They probably stuck with the original sprites because redrawing 56 characters would have been close to insane.
You should really get on inventing that new move for Guile already. Then maybe people will stop complaining. Or they’ll just say you abuse 3 moves instead of 2.

Thanks for reminding me about the strong part. I’ve actually reached new record strength levels - increasing them every day as well. Bench press, incline press, military press, and even dips are all at record levels. Interestingly enough, all of this ties in perfectly with Street Fighter II HD Remix - as mentioned in a recent online live voice conversation, I’m more built like Guile than Zangief. I wouldn’t want to be as big as gief, and besides to get anywhere near that size involves a whole lot of continuous, high dose steroid use.
As for the jealousy and negativity, some people seem to think that everyone must be modest and act a certain way. Some will even go as far as to hate and take action against others who do not agree with their flawed philosophy. This is not the right way to go about it - the important things are to be reasonably respectable, refrain from mindless profanity, demonstrate a real interest in the game and desire meaningful discussion both here and during matches. It helps to laugh a little as well, since laughter makes you live longer:

Good point - I had the exact same thought, although in a few seconds it became clear that they can just pay an artistic kid a few bucks to redraw the characters, like they probably did with HD remix. There are thousands, if not millions of qualified people around the world who would do the work for very little money. Remember, not every graphics artist is a highly paid celebrity!
Irrelevant, when capcom released SF2 HD remix they set a new standard, thus raising the bar graphically for online 2D fighting games. There is no excuse at all for not giving MvC2 the HD remix treatment. I am surprised by the popularity the game enjoyed recardless though - it only goes to show you that if everyone was as picky as me with the same good taste, we would all be enjoying better video games. Shame on those who bought MvC2! I downloaded the demo and was like “WTF!? this sucks!”
