I played Jago8089, he has some really good pressure game and I had to start playing on the defensive to stay alive, after fun some matches I send him a “GG g2g” message, then at that exact time I send him he send me “turtling lil ***”.
After I responded to that and I give him my opinion about the situation, which he called me turtle because I got a time out with Chin… well… it was obvious, 60 secs is not enough! Why people pick 60secs matches anyways? =/
Anyways, after that he said sorry for looking as a jerk and I said it was no problem and that I respected his type of play. I’m a really offensive guy, I hate playing defense, but he made me change my style and play smart and defensive, so that is a props, but due to that I got called a turtle. lol
Oh well, in the end he added me in his friends list and now we might play again some other day. So a happy ending here! lol

60 seconds is the standard for KOF. You’ll see mostly all arcade machines and tournaments use this. 99 seconds tends to allow more healing after each match as well.

My very first time going online I ran into a room called “GameFAQs.” I just couldn’t pass that up. Some nasally-voiced dude started making fun of me for knowing some BnBs (apparently, being good at the games you play is unacceptable and you’re supposed to be terrible forever and just read about them on the internet. That’s totally less nerdy). Some other dude with a mic seemed to be in the room, laughing every once in a while. But a few more minutes in and all I heard was the other player constantly cussing and complaining, and the other guy didn’t make another peep. Unfortunately I was only able to get in one match because the lag gradually got worse
I did send hate mail to one guy though… Not real proud of it. This dude plays one match, completely silent the whole time, laggy as fuck. He wins by a slim margin, he gets on his mic and trash talks me for one sentence (although I couldn’t understand a damn word he was saying) and leaves immediately. Sent a PM congratulating him on the lag win, never heard back. Not something I’d normally do, but trash-talking over a laggy-ass online match? We were both obviously just doing random bullshit. That’s like getting hype over a rock-paper-scissors tournament
